Note: I'm just stopping by to show an update Short and sweet. Plus a new planetary display that's hopefully hear to stay.

The Ontarom system. A hot, but bountiful eden, Ontarom is a world living on borrowed time. Like the Aite system, the planet's moon is on a decaying orbit making its way inward on a collision course with it's parent world. The decreasing proximity between the two worlds has made it increasingly difficult to live on the surface of Ontarom. Higher than average tides with ever increase lightning and thunderstorms have become a problematic hurdle to for colonization. This is still, however overshadowed by the little time Ontaromite habitability will last; and as Thonal continues its 300 year long, trajectory course toward Ontarom, the Alliance colonizes the world as a communications relay base, monitoring, transferring and communicating military information and comms across numerous Quantum Entanglement Communciators and Comm buoys.

A number of communciation hubs are located on the surface of the planet, set up by the Systems Alliance in the late 2170s.

Human Alliance flags

This is one of a number of communications hubs maintained by the Systems Alliance in the Ontarom System.

Large Relays and Dishes work around the clock to receive and relay Alliance military intelligence.

Outside, supply drop offs are being managed by communications staff, awaiting transport into storages.

This stands as a crucial staging point and communications relay that allows for amplified communciations between Alliance forces across a variety of Milky Way star clusters.

Stunning as always. Love the alien desert, and of course the pipes/conduits/tunnels.

They're custom BATs indeed! And I recently learned how to make transparent lots, so I had a little fun with those. I have a tendency and feeling of necessity that every update I make at least be unique in some respects from others that followed (more often than not, resulting in new BATs )

Note: I'm just stopping by to show yet another devious teaser (cause I love teasers, don't you? ) This is probably gonna feature in a relatively long way down the road; at least a month from now. At best, this could feature in the next two weeks (squeezing it in periods of procrastination before mid-year finals :3)

So skeptical of the new Mass Effect game... . not sure if I like it at all... ... :/  And to think I just got the logo right for ME:TMW. Looks like I'm gonna have to make a redesign of the logo for the new name I have in mind

Yay for updated map, but the new game brings many questions as to whether the mass relays will still be used or the length of the skip- and its influence on the CJ. So far so good though, love your work!

I actually have speculations of how it'll turn out. Haven't read much into it, but as far as the trailer goes, I feel like the Reapers aren't 'dead' and have a presence in Andromeda. So chances are, someone finds a mass relay that connects the Milky Way and Andromeda. I mean considering how advanced a civilization would have to be master inter-galactic travel, the trailer doesn't really indicated much a far forward leap (more or less 100 years into the future), which means there has to be a relay somewhere that connects the galaxies together ~ otherwise, what use is it calling it Mass Effect  without the mass effect 

In terms of story, I feel like if I do decide to pursue the Andromeda story, ME:Beyond will probably end up flicking between timelines. Technically, I'm doing that anyway. I was even thinking of doing historical events in the ME Universe such as the First Contact War

Note: I have one more exam Anyways, with the name change, the prefixes in each update will now indicate whether the system is in the Milky Way (TMW) or Andromeda (AND). Simple as that. Also been playing around with graphics. I keep changing them just so they look better. This new planet display is closer to the trailer design of the galaxy maps. Another thing is that Akuze's apperance in previous updates has now changed to a more accurate design of the spaceport area. It looks waaaay better now

Perched atop the Brooklyn bridge, John looked out at the city skyline in wonder. There was little else one could do at this time of night, and considering the state of the slums in Brooklyn, sometimes he thought it was just better to get a way from it all. The bridge was a great place to settle. He'd sit at the balcony on top of the bridge, prying the old metal doors to to get in.

And when he had nothing else to do, he'd think. About anything. Everything. More so about what he'd do. Being in a gang like the Tenth street Reds was hardly a future. Even as a child, he knew he wouldn't last if he'd stuck by. There had to be a way out of this life.

A way out of being an orphaned street rat.

Note: While technically, this isn't the first update that takes place after the Reaper war (the updates Survivor[#30.1] and Normandy Crash Landing[#29.1] come to mind - yes, the series follows the destroy ending), but it is the farthest I've gone past the Reaper war, over 20 years in aftermath. Not sure how applicable this is, but it is how it is for now.

 

Btw, the reaper BAT, it's not photoshopped in case anyone's wondering; actual rendering GMax nearly died.

Note: Another Teaser?. Haven't been able to fully return to SC4 much, just finished exams and uni for the year. So here's something I just quickly whipped up for a little "return update" kind of thing

Located on a distant garden world, this reaper is left to rot in the galaxy's post-war period.

During an FTL jump between star systems, EDI noted the Normandy's due need to refuel as the ship's fuel reserves exhausted. Noting the closest unoccupied system with still accessible and functional fuel depots from their position, the ship jumped several light years on a trajectory course with the independent turian planet of Adenae in the Phaisir System [Nehyran Reach cluster]. The ship breaches the system's atmosphere, decelerating with mass effect fields up, on an approach for the spaceports of the planetary capital; Aetakril. Above depicted is the Normandy passing by unidentified pylon tower structures that skirt the edges of the city boundaries.
