There are a lot of requests here :/ I don't think a thread like this is really helping is it?

Many of the requests state things that have already been made, or are impossible to make.

Hello.

I just want to ask if there is any possibility to create modd that will replace modern car automatas with non-mechanical automatas from previous ages, I mean carriages, horsemen or even just crowds of people for example. I think it would be interesting since many people (including me) build cities in ancient styles and I believe they agree with me, that it is boring to see dead ploped streets, or to see Mercedes C-class racing down the street of the medieval city if maxis roads are used. :)

Would it be possible to have hedgerows lining SPAM farms like you find in many parts of england as a sudden end doesn't look too good.

I have a mod idea that is possible. Could someone create a mod that enables the SC3K ordinances? I heard they're fully coded in the game, even with some strings regarding them.

While they are in the game, they might only be in the .exe and not in any of the .dat files. If so, then no, it isn't possible.

Is there any way to mod the game so that it reports data on economic indicators (like RCI Demand, average income, jobs, etc) to a text file?

Greetings all,

I'm looking for a way to trigger disasters randomly, overcoming disasters that I've triggered never feels the same as saving your city from a "un/natural" disasters! My Sims and I are becoming far too complacent with the most excitement being the odd fire or riot. Meltdowns happen so infrequently that they don't really count.

I was wondering if its possible to trigger disasters in game randomly? I know we can't (aren't allowed to) mod the EXE, but has someone come across a way to trigger events like this? Scripts or some clever lotting? How about a lot that when it catches fire detonates immediately and impressively, or triggers some other disaster.

Thoughts on the subject?

This is more of a transit modding request, and therefore should be under the category of the NAM.

I can tell you one thing, though: Tram-in-Road is already draggable, but not from a starter piece. Try clicking on a stretch of Road using Elevated Rail. (Nothing's enabled for Street or AVE.)

I have few building proposals, maybe at least one person would be interested in making these buildings. They are all from fast growing Polish capital:

Warsaw Spire - office building, currently under construcion - 220 meters.

Rondo 1 - office building - 192 meters.

Zlota 44 - designed by Libeskind, currently under construction residential - 192 meters.

Golden Terraces - commercial (Mall).

Lilium Tower - proposed residential - 257 meters.

Warsaw Trade Tower - office - 208 meters.

Intercontinental Hotel - 164 meters.

North Gate - office - 87 meters.

I have an interesting request (I can't tell if someone already thought of it): English Victorian-era and possible older style townhouses, cottages, manors, stores, plazas, stables, taverns, churchyards. Buildings you picture in novels like A Christmas Carol, or Oliver Twist, or Black Beauty, and they seem to come right out of the stories. Hey there could even be something like a Scrooge & Marley's as a reward lot. Streets lined with torch-lit lamps but I imagine that's difficult. Got a couple of pics for reference if anyone wants them.

And I like the carriage idea suggested by Soer_11. But not just carriages, stagecoaches that could work in the Victorian and Old West settings, buggies, chase carts, taxis, hearses, vendors, gypsy wagons, police, fire engine. I'm imagining an old world setting that could create a whole new level for Sim City 4.

I hope I'm in the right section, if not could someone be kind enough to direct me.

Not sure if this is the place or if it's possible, but here goes:

I would love to see this function added to the Mayor's Level Terrain tool:

a. option + click will sample an elevation

b. cmd + click will level the terrain to the sampled value

I think this would be a simple but powerful mod, especially when used with the grid-of-streets method. Landscaping and city planning would be far easier and precise. Bridges, tunnels, and those tricky waterfront areas.

Can someone possibly turn the PEG-CDKE Rail Fleet into game automata? Perhaps replace the current steam train in the game with the larger one in this download?

Just one more puzzle piece which should be fairly easy for the NAM squad I guess:

Tram-in-avenue/tram-in-avenue straight intersection, with tracks NOT mixing, simply crossing. I am requesting this because I need to keep two tram sets on separate lines. Please :)

Hye i'm new around here and i would like to request a trolleybus mod that has curved catenary cables and a U catenary cable(so trolleybuses could turn around).I know this mod was requested somwhere on this site but i couldn't find anywhere a trolleybus mod that has a curved catenary cable.The only mod what i found is the Trolleybus Project bus it has only straight catenary wires.I would really apreciate a trolleybus mod like this cuz i've been playing many games and couldn't find anywhere trolleybuses only trams(and i think that a city is much more interesting if there's a trolleybus transport system)and if i found a trolleybus mod it always replaced the trams.

And i would like to request these trolleybuses if it's possible::D
