A London Underground style map of the heavy rail network in my New Atlantis region.

The Teyni Line between Teyni and Xefyrz/Gregyztun is under construction.

Alright, here's Lenin'sk:

As you can see, the freeway ring challange has been accomplished  HOOORAH! Various elevated metro lines (also few subways) have expanded throught suburbia. Also the avenues have been extended.

Thank you vivapanda. I'm going to slowly build the regions transit system.

Here's what the region currently looks like.

Here is a closer view of Downtown. You can see major roads, streets, and the subway system and stations.

@SparkleMagic91 I've just been using Inkscape, it's a great free vector program. I know there's more than a few people in this thread who also use it (much better than I do). Check it out!

Leyawiin 's new U-Bahn network! I restarted my city and this is what came out. I did it Berliner style for this one! ^_^

leyawiins-bahn.png

The whole Leyawiin regional network. (Yes, it's from Oblivion). Based on some maps seen around NRW, it also features RE and RB lines and a decentralized network, mainly based around Leyawiin, Bravil and Atatar. The region itself is bilingual as shown, with Elsewyr Dutch-speaking in turn.

This is the map of my Downtown and Central Business District.

This is my first attempt at a transit map. It's not to scale, and is more for looks. transitj.png

The transit map looks pretty good, I suppose. Usually transit maps aren't made to be for scale, or they become über confusing. You forgot a station on the blue line, past Adams & 10th.

@Josh : I always try to make realistic stuff, mainly cause I use them in online 3D environments afterwards. ^_^ Sometimes on official business, like that SLRR map.

Ty all ^^ took me quite a while, and I'm not done with it.

Thanks. Like I said, it was my first attempt, and understood it's not to be to scale but still wanted a visual representation of the basic outlines of the routes. I think in the future I will most likely pursue something that is more akin to what you would find on a subway or at a station. My blue line actually extends over the river and to an island so there should most likely be an arrow there instead of nothing, thanks for pointing that out!

You're maps are always an inspiration, please keep up the great work!

I just chanced upon this thread, because I was recently hungry for some of the "classic" type content on the City-Building Concepts forum. I'm very pleased to see that the high-concept city-builders are still active and building these beautiful yet functional designs. This may seem like high praise, but I believe that your work here is vital to the health of this community, and my own enjoyment of it. Keep going on the path you're on :thumb: .
