It looks like you're missing "NetworkAddonMod_BaseContent.dat". The last time that I installed the NAM this file was properly included.

Some of these textures are mistakenly included in NetworkAddonMod_RailViaducts.dat.  To get them, just be sure that the Viaduct Rail network is selected during installation.

L4 filler pieces are missing. Are they mistakenly excluded from the release, or they're not yet done yet and planned for a future release?

Thanks! I did a bit of an ad-hoc installation because I've had hang problems on my Mac. I added that file in, and weirdly the avenue pieces are fine now, but the highway pieces are still missing. Is there a different file that specifically handles those pieces just for highways?

Everything else is working great though!

Just as a matter of interest, does the NAM team include a MAC user for at least testing purposes?

reading the above post decreases my hopes a little but hopefully my problem will be solved.

As Tarkas mentioned in the 3rd page of this thread a few macs with Lion OSX(10.7) are having CTD when high monorail is installed. So I deleted the following:

high elevated monorail

el rail alternate implementations(because it is related to el rail which had problems in the previous versions)

Flexible Underpasses(a few months ago I had found a mac user who had problems with underground puzzle pieces)

Fractional Angled Networks

I did not install the el rail on road and el rail high because they didn't work previously and dont work now

Their being disabled is an accident--it likely happened during all the switching between s-series and e-series controllers.  I swear, those fillers are the most high-maintenance pieces in the entire NAM--they don't want to cooperate.

^^ No. That's a structural problem for years. None of the NAM Members use MacOS. It's a problem at our end, because we don't know for sure everything of the NAM works for the MAC...

Actually, we have a couple of Mac users, but none of them use the Mac port of the game, and instead use Bootcamp or Parallels, etc. to run the Windows version.

Turns out that once I installed the base content file all I had to do was bulldoze and then rebuild the diagonal section. For most parts it was fine, although for some reason with the new NAM it won't let me put in a 1 tile jog in highways. It needs to be at least 2 in order for the diagonal to work. I had to reconfigure a few interchanges in order to get it to work.

Perhaps we should take a stand against the Aspyr version, which seems to be out of support.  There are several ways to run the windows version on a MAC including bootcamp, and wine.

I seem to be having a problem with one-way roads, since I don't exactly know how to explain it Ill post up pics:

When I drag it, it ends looks like this and the game freezes a bit to build:

2upcncz.jpg

When I build it its not visible and it seems that it cuts off the path as well:

Any Help or response it appreciated, thanks!  :)

Yes, I forgot to mention I select the arrow remover option, I think its possibly because of that option because it worked fine without it, though I'm not sure if theres a fix or if its been reported yet (I apologize if it has or you may already know about this).

Please run the NAM installer again and select the Custom Installation.  Uncheck the option to remove the arrows, but leave everything else the same.  Then restart your game and let us know what you find.

Not sure, but it looks like it maybe a corrupt install of the game because mine works fine with the arrow remover. Try to load the game without NAM to see if OWRs can be built properly. If it's still missing, then you have a corrupt install of the game. Reinstall the game and see, if nothing, you need to buy a new copy of the game. :)

Erm, why would you want to build a one-way road to a dead-end? Either the cars would never be able to get out, or as it seems from the pic, never be able to get in. Of course, there will be no-car zots, regardless of any texture issues.

Do pardon me if these have already been reported.

I did not choose the fences for Moonlight's El-rail, and yet they show op (sometimes):

naamlooste.jpg

Issues with RHW MIS-intersections. Also note the US textures on the MIS instead of Euro textures:

naamloos2a.jpg

Another small question: what happened with the mod that changes the one way-arrows to more elegant ones? I can't seem to find it in the installer.

Edit: MIS to road-connections show an empty tile. The preview shows the transition, but it is not built.

Refer to my link to Drouin in Google Maps, I hope something similar to that can be implemented.

I checked the Single-solid line option for NWM Euro textures in the installer, but I still got the standard textures. Is there any reason why the installer did this? Can I just put my NAM 30 Euro NWM folder back in?

I'll be back one day.

Yes; it made a mistake and loaded the SSL textures in the wrong folder.

You can manually fix that by going into the folder "z___NAM\Euro Cosmetic Re-Texture Mod" and moving all the files that begin with "z4_" and contain "SSL" in their name (there are three of them and they are all together) into the subfolder NWM_v2_Euro_Textures_Mod.  I have verified that this fixes the problem.

The problem will be fixed in the installer in NAM 31.2.

Can I just put my NAM 30 Euro NWM folder back in?

Due to loading order issues, it would be best if you just followed the above instructions.

I installed Euro Textures and one of the TLA-7/AVE-6 TuLEP pieces (the one with the arrow) are still in American texture. Is this another case of "ZZZ deprivation"? :P If not, can it  be fixed by attachment? :)

I've found a minor issue that's probably been reported elsewhere: the "Modern GLR Station" by Brenda_Xne says it has a bus stop integrated but there is no sign of actual bus stop functionality.

And there seems to be a much bigger issue that I've come across.  The neighbor connector pieces for the RHW 8C and 6C do not seem to be working properly.  I've been building a couple of large tile cities while tinkering around with all the new features in NAM 31.1, and this particular one was doing just fine until I made a neighbor connection using RHW 6C along the northern side of the tile.  I started experiencing rampant unemployment all over town.  I tried everything from de-zoning residential areas and putting them in different parts of town to wiping out whole areas entirely, as well as swapping out industrial with commercial, building an overly extensive mass transit system and upgrading every road in town to an NWM road.  I also took detailed looks at my census drives and I found that I had enough jobs in town to fill all of them.  The only thing that seemed to fix the issue was severing the RHW neighbor connection.  Eventually I tried an RHW 8C neighbor connection.  The same rampant unemployment plagued the entire town once again.  Finally I transitioned my highway to RHW 8S near the edge of town and after installing the appropriate neighbor connector pieces, the unemployment cleared right up.

One thing I observed using the route query tool is that the only things that were using the RHW 8C/6C connection were freight trucks and a handful of busses.  No cars were using the highway at all.  Once I installed the 8S Neighbor connection, the highway became fully loaded with busses, and flooded with cars.  I have no idea what went wrong.  I am certain I was using the neighbor connector pieces correctly, as I reinstalled them many, many times to verify that it was indeed the RHW 6C/8C connection that was causing the unemployment.

From what I can tell, it appears that the Euro version of this texture was never made.  I'll look into it further.

Problem solved! Turned out it was because I had Both the One way arrow removers options selected together on the installer. You can only pick one of either 'Reduce Most One-way Arrows' or the 'Reduce One-way Arrows by half' under the on-way road option in the Additional and Customization section . It seems these two options conflict together when both selected and installed. Anyways, Thanks for all the help and suggestion guys!

Actually, you can combine the three One-Way Arrow mods in any combination you like.  I just tried the combination you mentioned, as well as selecting all three, and both combinations worked fine for me.  You must have some other issue.  Please try simply reinstalling the NAM using the Complete Standard Installation and see if that fixes this problem.

The No Grass Mod by sithlrd98  seem entirely compatible with the new NAM.  It works for all networks except roads.  It has worked with all other NAMs to date.

May I ask where your mod is located in your plugins folder? Since NAM 31 and the introduction of the z_NAM folder, I noticed some mods were misfunctioning because the loading order was modified with the new file structure.

Try to drop the no grass mod in the z_NAM folder and make sure it loads after the road textures folder, that should do the trick
