  1.     I am having the same problem! I have this mod manager set in the same folder that the 'SimCity.exe' is in, but when I right-click on it and 'open as administrator', nothing whatsoever happens! I cannot give a screenshot of nothing happening.

I think maybe it's not working because EA Play changed the folder destination? I have all my games installed on my external hard drive at 'I:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\SimCity\SimCity'. If this mod manager is set to open from a specific folder like it did the old way at something like 'I:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity', then that would be why it isn't working anymore. If not, I can't think of any other reason why it's not functional. When I right-click on it to go to 'Properties' and 'Run the Compatibility Troubleshooter', it simply reads:

"An error occurred while loading the troubleshooter.

An error has occurred. The Troubleshooting wizard can't continue.

                                                         View error Details:

                                                         Package ID: PCWDiagnostic

                                                         Path: Unknown

                                                         Error Code: 0x80070057

                                                         Source: Command Line

User: My PC Name/ My PC Name

                                                         Context: Restricted"

To top it all off I can't just go back to using Origin. EA keeps finding new ways to make me very angry. The launcher barely functions. They really should not have forced players to ditch Origin until it was fully functional. Now no one can use Origin at all. When Origin loads, a pop-up opens telling the users to install the EA Play app! 🤬

If need a Mod Manager, but yours is broken! 🤕

I know it's been several years, but please fix it! 🙏

  2. Project Orion - 3k Extended Boundary

I found that having this mod along with Oppie's Burger King mod crashes SimCity on startup. Don't know why.
  3. Asilk's Mod Manager (AMM)

@hch12907 Thanks, I'll look into it.
  5. Asilk's Mod Manager (AMM)

Try deleting the SimcityModManager Folder in your documents and then running the latest version.
  6. Show US Your Interchange!

Relatively simple, but works for what I'm doing. Made in my youtube let's play series: http://youtu.be/Xnf2y8S4H6Q
  7. I have the update all set for it, I just can't update the mod on ST Exchange. Have no idea as to why.
  8. Are you sure you set the directory correctly? Remember it is the Simcity Folder as a whole instead of just the data folder. Yes I know which folder to select. The folder I selected is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCity" the mod manager can't find this path for some reason. I can send you the debug file and a screencap of what happens when i click install. Not "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCity", but "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity (you go up one level)
  9. Asilk's Mod Manager (AMM)

I assure you it does not have a virus. Happy modding :)

  11. No Problem! Whatever makes the users happy
  12. I'll consider making it open source. It's written in Visual Basic, and I will fix the window size sometime soon hopefully . Thanks for the suggestion.
  13. Try deleting the SimcityModManager Folder in your documents folder first, then rerun the program.
  14. So I created a mod manager for SC5 which can be found here: This thread is intended to suggest ideas for the manager, report bugs, or simply leaving a nice comment about it. Thanks for your support.
