Hi,

 

It's been a while that I downloaded this wonderful mod. Can anyone tell me if with the latest version all the items of Cities of Tomorrow can be plopped outside the box too? Thank you.

You can plop MegaTowers with my mod. GO here. In the future I will add more and more. And I will make one big download later.

can anyone help me?

i installed the mod and while i'm playing the game i try to make a road outside the box,

but the road is far away from my mousearrow, i mean the little circle to build the road...

do anyone have the same problem and maybe did solved it???

 

i'm sorry for my bad english.

A way around that is to turn your view so you are looking straight down. The cursor should be in the right spot then. Not sure what causes  that to happen. Hopefully someone will figure out how to fix it. If you are using the BOC mod you can plop a clinic then enter the clinics edit mode and your view point will shift to the clinic. This can help you get a better top down view if you are drawing roads far from the city box.

    If you can get a copy of my FreeRoam Camera mod it still works for the latest version of simcity, was testing it last night while playing around for a bit. I think someone posted it in the previous pages if not Ill reupload it tonight when I am home.

     

    Come wednesday Ill be taking some time off from work and possibly pushing some updates out along with a few new things like seperate plops released unofficially (not on st/ex) like oppie's stuff though I will need to send him a PM to see what hes doing with it and if hes fine with me releasing it.

    I can place Wind Power Mods outside City Limits but my city is grown out of room and would like to place Residential and so on out side of it? Also Mega Buildings is empty.

    Forgive my poor English because I am a Chinese.

    I found a question that I can't bulldoze  the services roads  while playing the game whit BOC Mods last version. (SC2013 update 10 )

    I don't know if there is some other MODs  conflicts with BOC Mods or there is some other questions。

    Could someone tell me if you can solve this question please tell me     .thanks a lot.

    @ProcsKalone could you maybe post an update for update 10.  Currently when you plot stuff, a single item will take 2 of 4 instead of 1 of 4.  Seems to affect every plopable addon for casions, trading, etc.

    yeah this seems to be a major problem

    yeah this seems to be a major problem

     

    Agreed. This mod is amazing, but this bug makes it unplayable.

    FreeRoam Camera reupload (only for those who realllly want it, theres some small issues that needs fixing):

    Note: The mod requires you to have atleast 2 cities in the region claimed to be able to "unlock/unbreak" the camera. The first time you load it it will be working fine but upon returning to your city it will appear locked. You will need to go to Region View and claim/load another city then come back and it will be unlocked.

    Holding Shift+A/W/D/S allows for fast moving around, R / F allows you to move up/down.

     

    I believe sandbox money cheat doesnt work due to some hotkey issues but I may try to fix this sometime soon though no promises.

    Thanks for updating your mod.

    The module issue appears to be sorted and I can bulldoze service roads outside again, however I still seem unable to bulldoze highways and rail.

    Thanks for updating the mod, ProcsKalone.

    If possible, maybe add zoning outside citybox? And maybe make the FRC being able to use the same controls as original camera? (mouse, and zoom using wheel etc.)

    Wasn't W and S supposed to be move forward and backward?

    I'm also unable to bulldoze the driveway belonging to the Grade School and Shuttle Depo after their main building is gone.

    Ill fix those road issues soon, thought I caught them all. Lost my list of things to update each patch so it took a while tracking down what needed updating (and apparently I missed some anyways bah)

    1)Some people seems cannot receive any power while others can

    2)Power line is red, but people still can receive power (except some people)

    3)No power "bubbles"(agents?)

    I have an coal power plant not too far from my city. Pretty sure that the roads are connected properly.

    First off thanks for such a great mod but although i can manually install this mod no matter what i try i just can't get the batch file to work it may just be me but it says cannot find files to copy but says mod installed even tho it hasn't installed anything if i'm not making sense let me know and i'll upload a screen shot of the programme saying this Thanks again.

     

    And for me modules are still counting twice dunno if it's same reason but i have items doubled in i think all menus aswel

    The modules are still counted twice - however the update has doubled the total allowed to compensate.

    Also you can now "overplop" twice as many modules as long as you can "chain plop" several of them in a row without having to re-select them from the menu.

    By the way, if you use other mods that change module counts (e.g. CapTon's Fire Enhancement Pack) they will override BOC.

    @hch: Thats an issue with the free way interchange and carrying power. Its fixable but not high on my list of things to fix at the moment as its not too big of a work around (all other roads carry power/water/sewage outside). I may try to get it fixed sometime in the future if a lot of people complain.

     

    0.98p - Should fix all the unbulldozable roads from plops.

    Hi,

     

    First I would like to thank you for this wonderful mod. I'm sure it's the most liked mod there is.

     

    I have a question concerning building RCI outside the box. Seeing as all ploppables work perfectly outside the city, do you think that if one would be to convert every RCI building in the game to ploppables, and place them on a list for players to use, RCI can be build outside the city?

     

    What your mod shows, is that the simulation that the game uses to build RCI does not work outside the box. So maybe when RCI is already fully constructed, and plopped, no simulation is needed at all. All the buildings are already there. They would only need to be converted.

     

    What do you think?

     

    Secondly, several modders have already tried to find a way to plop more than 8 mega Towers, but unfortunately didn't succeed. I was wondering if you, with your skills could? :) I would also ask the same for the landmarks, like the 'Edificio Copan' apartment building with 1100 sims. It would be nice to build an entire neighborhood with 30 Edificio Copans. :)

    It would be nice to build an entire neighborhood with 30 Edificio Copans. :)  

    I always wanted to do a circle city made of that building!

    I have a couple questions on BOC.

     

    Is there any way to adjust the ground textures on buildings (parking lots/grass) so they are not under ground when you plop outside?

     

    Is there any way to turn the buildings or make them snap to road outside? 

     

    I think these were mentioned way back in this thread and I was wondering if it may be possible now that offline is live.
