Problem with Trade Deopt , Water , Sawege Treatment Plant can only Place 1 Module instead of 4 or 6 Modules

    @icarus22, that really shouldnt be the case if it is installed properly as I am 100% sure they were updated properly. Try re-extracting the SimCity-Scripts_287520926.package from the .rar (Inside the rar it will be in SimCityUserData\EcoGame\) and put it in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCityUserData\EcoGame (replace the file there).

    I didn't see specifics, i just had three concerns.

    The cursor gets kind of weird when plopping outside the grid, the plops seem to get "stuck", it's a little disorienting

    After placing roads via the debug they occasionally clip through hills and the plops don't seem to snap to points on the road though they do seem to still function.

    Since the plops don't snap to the roads, i'm essentially placing all of the buildings at the same angle,, is it possible to rotate them?

    Again i'm not sure if this is just how debug mode works, or if i'm doing something wrong.

    @precisezerbra: Yeah the cursor thing is something unavoidable as far as I can see. You can try and deal with it using the extended cam mod or the FRC camera mod. Snap points dont work outside the box, atleast on the roads. You can also bypass the roads clipping terrain by drawing them in smaller segments instead of stretches but it still clips at some points (near coasts for example).

    @Blue: nothing :D, just realized i should put a note stating when it was last up to date and that was may 2nd.

    Hey guys, im needing Interchange Remover, can someone upload it please?

    There's a bug on my FRC, it only work on fresh new city, i cant use on any loading even if i used it on begin.
    There's a issue on Simcityrollercompletepack that i cant build town hall and academy modules, i had all modules but when i bulldoze to move it bugs.

    Claim another city and load it, it should be working.

    I'm having the same problem with the trade depot, water plant and such.  I re-extracted the file and copied it but no luck, anything else I can try?  Thanks pro.

    Not that I know of. All plops are always orientated to the north. I myself find that no problem at all, really. :)

    Kalone you are indeed a gentleman sir :) I´ve been reading across all 25 pages and it´s amazing how you carefully and respectfully answer everyone, as clear as possible. Always willing to make this game better and help people who are still on to it :)

     

    I´m seriously considering trying the BOC mod - specially because I would like to maximize RCI inside city and place most services outside (are energy agents working?), will garbage trucks deliver outside city?

     

     

    Thank´s a lot for all your efforts on bringing better SimCity experience :)

     

    edit: I just downloaded your installer and it seems to have all needed files to get this mod running correctly. As soon as I get home I´ll try it (under Win8.1 64bit) and post feedback.

    So, last night I tried the BOC mod with Kalone´s setup.bat and it installed like a charm. It plays wonderfully as well (plopped power plant and sewage  treatment outside my biggest city and it works flawlessly - with energy and sewage regional trading). I´m getting the "modules bug" as well (my default oil powerplant has "Not Aprooved" modules - demolish and new build doesn´t correct it. My new BOC power plants are not allowing more than 3-4 modules).

     

    I think this is due to another mod, maybe the trade/fire station/garbage/education enhancement pack from Capton - it has a script with the same name as one in BOC mod, i.e, the "SimCity-Scripts_287520926.package". But still, they go into different folders (Kalone´s goes to EcoGame and the Capton´s Enhancement goes to Simcity Data). I´ll try it later and post feedback...

    @Agente

    Some other mods do conflict with BOC, particularly those that change module limits.

    I think Script packages in SimCityUserData/Packages override those in EcoGame.

    I have removed all enhancement mods but the bug is still there. I did what Kalone recommended, copying the script file from Eco folder inside BOC rar file into game dir, userdata ecofolder as well. But, I think the script inside the Data folder (not userdata) maybe still from one of the enhance mods. I´ll try to "force" the kalone´s from .rar/eco to gamedir/data :P   lol

     

    edit: sucess. Now it show what is supposed. water pumping station 0/12 count double for every placement (and therefore 6 placed)

    Im trying to place modules on the buildings outside the box, but there are no snap points... Is there a trick to placing modules outside the box?

    edit: nevermind. i noticed there are extra modules that will work outside for most buildings. I was having trouble with the trade depot, which happens to be one of the few buildings without those "special" modules.

    I get a network coonection error when o remove your mod after trying to load a saved game (your mod conflicts with my other mods nothing personal lol)

    @Agente: Sorry I never got to reply, was kind of in and out this week and not really free to reply. Thanks for the kind words - they are much appreciated! There will definitely be more and more conflicts between my mods and all the enhancement mods coming out nowadays.

     

    @lucas: Sorry I never got back, but you seem to have figured it out. Though the trade depot should be working sort of. They wont have their normal plop points but you should be able to plop them outside the box freely.

     

    @Ausmayor: Hmmmm thats a new one, could you let me know what mods you are running? As far as I know removing my mod shouldnt be causing any of those issues but it may be something new thats causing it. Did you make sure you deleted the simcity_scripts_XXXXX from SimCity\SimCityUserData\Packages\ , and also delete the latest one from SimCity\SimCityUserData\EcoGame\ (This will be redownloaded to the default fresh one off the servers)

    Cheers yep I did that... after I loaded a fresh game and saw some of the data was left behind

    .. err never play online offline for this old boy lol... mods... rci boost.. casino among others... don't get me wrong I love your work.. just this old fart gets confused at times lol... I lpve what you have achieved with the boc mod.. I've used it from time to time... cheers...

    BOC mod is from now on my official number 1 mod... It expands the game so much... I found myself staring at the monitor realizing how many possibilities now available! You need an airport but can´t sacrifice more residents or industry?!! No problem, BOC... your surplus of energy/sewage from one providing city is not being correctly accounted to neighboors? No problem, BOC... your hightech city could use some processor factorys and the cool Electronics HQ? No problem, BOC   xD Oh and that trade port? BOC. I like the Large Firestation but it´s so... BOC... oh and the... BOC  :)

     

    My Battlefield4 mates are blaming you Kalone, for my absence :)

    I just downloaded this to test out and I used the auto-installer, but when I get into the game in offline mode, I can't seem to plop outside the city limits.

     

    Is the auto-installer working correctly?  I have Simcity Deluxe edition only, no dlc other than free stuff.  I use windows 8 x64 if that matters.

     

    I'll look a little closer into later, just though I'd give a heads up incase there is an error with installer.

    I figured it out.  There are extra icons on the main page of the UI.  

     

    I still can't plop though.  I tried the special sewage pipe, wind power, and water tower.  But none could find a snap point.  

     

    I also noticed that the water flows outside the city, but only for the first block.  I know I made short square boxed roads outside the borders first, then added more roads sizes for more plop testing of all road types. I can't seem to plop to any road type.

    When you have time and are in the mood, will you be so kind to add the landmark, 'Arcology', the 'OmegaCo Factory', and the 'OmegaCo HQ' and it's sub-buildings to your BOC mod?

     

    They are the only ones still not able to be plopped outside the city, and they do take a lot of space.

    How do you fare with RCI? Have you thought about creating a mod with which you can "move" RCI buildings from inside to outside the box so you can plop them there? "Grow" RCI inside the city, and when they've sprouted, take them out, and "plant" them outside where you want.

     

    They'll keep growing back where there's zoning. I thought that it was worth a thought. Love your mod. :)

    The water table is only inside the map so water towers/pumps must be also.

    B.O.C.'s special modules don't use snap points, you just place them anywhere there is room and they always face north.
