There is this model of the Systems Alliance Cruiser that I have now (Displayed is the SSV Tokyo). Unfortunately, for reasons that I didn't officially make the model, it is unlikely that this will be ever uploaded. But nonetheless, I wanted to show you. There is a very slim possibility that this could be available for download (and cruisers such as the SSV Geneva, SSV Manila, SSV Hyderabad, SSV Warsaw, SSV etc. There's an extensive list of about two dozen major world cities), but will not be available on Sitmropolis' STEX nor SC4D's LEX. Likely will be available on my website, but no where else. But this is still under decision.

I've gone back to the 'Asari Nos Astra' building style (except it's altered) but I'll let you be the judge of it. Strangely, textures don't seem to be appearing and I'm a little curious as to why. But, oh well. I'll get it sorted out later. The tower is roughly 300 m tall, and hopefully my laptop won't glitch out come time I render this with textures. It's about all it can handle at this point since it isn't a very powerful computer.

Just an update on what I'll be releasing this time today since it's Christmas here in New Zealand!

I've honed my texturing skills, and dug up some techniques I've used to get the colors and effects I need to create a more used and dirtier texture, fitting to the environment it is going to be put in, in my City Journal -- Also the fact that I've pretty much just replicated the Leviathan mission's research station on Namakli, and the textures as well as color palettes were derived from there. I still had to tweak and make do with my base textures that I obtained from prefabs I screenshoted from Eden Prime, used in my previous prefab textured model. I've also re-scaled the model after I realized that the actual prefab is about a half more taller than the one I've actually made. Here are the results of my soon-to-be releases.

Does anyone know why my 3dsM renders look like this at specific zooms, or at all zooms altogether. I mean yeah I'm not running it on a state-of-the-art laptop, but that BAT ain't that big, and I saw it render all the directions and zooms. Why end up like this?

@KonstantinII - That's a really enticing diagram, and I might possibly pursue that as a BAT model.

 

So today I decided to quickly craft a SimMars based ME:TMW BAT. Hope you'll enjoy this research station WIP.

Do you like Asteroids? Do you like Asteroid Colonies? I do. What about smaller floating Asteroids floating above your Asteroid Colonies? I do. I thought may be having some asteroids at hand could help people enhance a sci-fi scene and emphasize an area they had was an asteroid colony -- in case anyone has one.

@Konstantin - Maybe, it's not actually my model, but I could consider uploading it anyway, since I had to work on it.

 

I'm BATing for another ME:TMW update, but unfortunately, my limited processing power on my laptop may possibly render it impossible [pun not intended] for me to actually complete the render once textured. Would it be possible if someone who could render a near 400 m tall arcology could offer some assistance and render it for me? This is still assuming I can't myself and I'm yet to try, but an offer of assistance from someone who could would be greatly appreciated If you're interested, just tell me, and I'll PM you in the case that my render fails
