I'm not sure if this has been suggested yet,

 

but I would love some sort of a mod that creates a dirt road that only emergency services(police cars, fire trucks, etc) can drive on. Is this available or can someone do this?

Stadium add to Mods like Team Shop,Food Places and so on.

Gas Station with Car Wash.

Naming mod so if I go over a Rosd I can name it same with like School and so on.

Sidewalks? Event Center? Convention Center?

Hey guys, I have a few mods to request for SimCity.

 

First, I just want to say that I'm the kind of person that zooms in as far as I can into my city and see things happening, and I notice a few things...

 

1. So in this first mod, I would like to make buildings in the same height as the road. It just looks really weird when the buildings are really steep (going up or down) at the entrance sometimes. This especially happens on hilly areas.

 

2. In this mod I would like to make it so that when there are a lot of cars parking in a parking lot, the cars are not all the same. Because when I look at a parking lot, I see that all the cars are the same cars parking in the building except that they are different colors.

 

3. I notice that on any type of intersection with avenues in them, there are streetlamps in the middle of the road or the road is bugged out so that it goes a bit into the intersection. You'll get what I mean if you look at it yourself. I find this bug really annoying to look at sometimes.

 

4. In this mod, I would like it so that people don't only  shop at their own wealth level of commercial. So, basically, a low wealth sim would go shopping at low and medium wealth commercial. A medium wealth sim shops at low medium and high wealth commercial. A high wealth sim would go shopping at high and medium wealth shops. The thing is though, to make sims happy, you need the same wealth level of commercial as them. Commercial businesses though, are happy no matter who shops in them. I think that this would make it a bit more realistic because I like to have lot's of high wealth commercial offices, but I need high wealth sims to support them.

Can someone please make cars go a proper speed? I really don't like how everyone is so urgent to get to work, school or shopping. This might or might not solve traffic issues (I don't think it will). I mean, you really only drive that fast if you need to go to the toilet... right?

How about a mod to allow trade depot to import freight and deliver it to shops in the city? This would help satisfy commercial freight demands and also allow cities to be free of industry, which would be perfect for tourism and gambling cities.

There should be no cost to import freight as the city isn't buying the freight, it's the commercial buildings that are buying freight from suppliers outside of the region. The trade depot is just acting as a delivery/distribution centre. The trade depot already has a freight module but it's not possible to import (or export) freight. Maybe it would be fairly easy to change this...?


Alternative mod: make it so that commercial buildings call for freight deliveries directly from outside the region, exactly the same way that the coal power station can get coal deliveries without needing a local coal mine or trade depot.

Of course it can be free, it's a mod.  Why should the city pay to import freight just to give it to shops (for free) so they can sell it? That just doesn't make any sense.

 

With a mod like this the city isn't buying anything, it's just allowing freight to enter the city to keep commerical happy. This in turn would free up space that is normally devoted to industry. How many real world cities have shops that only sell goods made locally? Not very many.

 

I'm not suggesting making coal or oil or alloy or processors or any other resources free to import. I'm only talking about freight that is normally made by industry and sent to commercial so they can sell it.

It wouldent be unlimited, but I wonder if they could be made to last longer by changing the extraction rate and price? Make the mines/wells pull less resorces and raise the prices to compensate? No idea if thats possible or not though.

Sir, bigger maps are (maybe) in development, a subway is already existing as mod and the municipal airport is upgradeable (in the transportation menu).

Can anyone create a mod, or is there a mod already existing, in which things like bus stops or tram stops are able to futurize and area?  I think the futurization should cover the same area that the stop services.  This would help with futurizing a city without taking up precious space with parks and water towers.

 

A second request would be a maglev station and track that match the aesthetics of an omegaco city.  Dark, dirty, grundgy looking.

I wouldn't really want the resources to be unlimited.  Maybe slow down the rate at which they are used up, though.  Also, along those same lines, I wish the liquid resources (water and oil) would actually act like liquids.  What I mean by that is that water gets used up directly under a water tower, but there is still lots of water surrounding that void.  Why does the water surrounding it the void not drain into the void?  I think a mod that would allow this to happen would be VERY useful.

Hi,

Do you think it will be possible to raise/setup (or eliminate)  the limits of trading water/energy/... between city?

This limit in SC4 bothered me a lot ;) i have the hope to be able to distribute freely in SC 2013 :)

I always wanted those things.

 

First, possibility to customize each road lane where he goes. For example, I have a high density avenue. So, agents use 1st lane for right, second lane for straight and 3rd lane for left. Why I can't customize where you can go with each lane? 
If they come from a High density Avenue to a Low Density avenue, why I can't use 2 lanes for turn in the same direction?

 

 

One example of what I want can be found on the game "Traffic Manager". Is exactly what I want. Due that the city is very small, and traffic is very... *ejem*. Why I can't customice crossroad, street lights and driving lanes?....

I would love to see custom road mods :)

But I think (I'm not a modder, just thinking) it is not that easy to customize the road lanes, one way roads & stuff like that.

6 lanes Roads?

Somebody made United Center.

Wildlife Park? Post Office? Forest? RV Park? Campground? Cemetery? Beach Resort? Water Park?

Downtown Mod? Banks? Recycle Bins? Mini Airports for small Jets and so on? Trails? Toll Booths to help gain Money in your Bank?

Newspaper to keep up with what's happening in your city like it might say at Dodd Road and 425 a Taco Bell coming soon?

Can someone create a Mod that expands the Amusement Park? I would like to see every limit multiplied by at least 4

A mod that doesn't change vanilla SimCity music to CoT SimCity music when placing futurizing objects in a city would be nice. If somebody could create that i'd be highly grateful.

I like vanilla SimCity music a lot, but sometimes I don't try to futurize my city because the music changes. Even placing a single CoT park changes the music.
