Just popping to say hi, haven't had much spare time to do much. Work and visit wife. Everything seems to halt when someone you love or care about is sick or injured, I feel so guilty if I'm enjoying myself, but can't stand seeing her in that hospital bed. But I'm not complaining, it's just Tough.

I'm going to be inactive for a few days, maybe more - two reasons.  I'm going to be out of town for 2 days.

I'm having disk drive problems, (lots of grinding / bad sectors.. it's dying =/), so I'm going to have to get a new one.. backup, format, all that jazz, which might take a while.

I was thinking of making a separate thread for what I'm about to say but this place seems more appropriate. Anyhow, I won't be around to post here for the whole month.

Here's what happened:

Me and my mom got into a little argument over the computer (long story). She said that I was too selfish and that it was as if the pc was the only thing I could think of. I hate to admit it but it's true. Well, to make her feel better (and myself better. Seriously I need to change), I told her that I won't touch the computer for the rest of March... and the rest is pretty much explanatory.

This will be my last post until April 1 hopefully. See you all later.

Whoops! Cancel that. I'm at least allowed to use the pc on the weekends. And besides, there's always the computer lab at school.

Hello to all of my dear netFriends,

There comes a time in life when we are faced with decisions -- some of them easy and joyful; some of them difficult and heartbreaking.  I am sad to write that the contents of this post will deal with the latter pair.  Because of a combination of continuing health problems and other life crises, I have come to the painful decision that I must withdraw as an active member from this site.

I hope to keep my account open on this site as I plan on occasionally logging in to see how things are going and how people are doing.  However, I am not going to be able to be an active member or participate in on-going threads.

This is a very painful decision I've had to make and one that has not been done lightly.  However, faced with an uncertain future and wanting to make the most of the time God will grant me on this earth, I find that my priorities have changed.  I will be spending much more time with my wife and family and have decided to pursue the other "loves of my life" -- music and writing.

I would like to thank each and every one of you with whom I've had the pleasure to interact.  I've enjoyed our netFriendship and want you all to know that I will miss you greatly.

Well, I'm sorry to say that I have been banned from Simtropolis for good. I can not go into the details, but, I assure you that the cause of my banning was wholely deserved, and april fools day being so near to me being banned is just a coincidence. I'm sorry Simtropolis, and should have never acted in the manner i did. Hopefully, I'll be un-banned within the next few years.

Hello people, just thought I'd say hi. Its been awhile, wife is finally out and doing great. Everyday is a recovery day, she weighed like 87lbs when she got out. They dont feed you anything that has real stuff in it (FAT, SODIUM, SUGAR), & she was on tube feed the first month she was there. She kept saying "Im like half a Olsen Twin". Ive been doing alot of updating & tweeking to my puter so hopefully soon I'll be up & playing soon (and chatting). Glad to seen some of the same peps and some newbies here, welcome.
