well guys, my time's up...


Its time for me to leave ST and head off to San Antonio, Texas for Basic Mililtary Training and become part of the best Air Force in the world. I was originally supposed to leave on May 10, but my ship date got moved up to Sunday the 8th. I've been waiting to leave for about 8 months now and its finally here. I'm nervous and excited, but ready to go and get it done and over with already. I'm taking the next two days off to continue getting my affairs in order and saying goodbye to the people I'm leaving behind here.


I'd also like to thank everyone here for being so kind to me the last 1 year, 1 month and 2 days I've been a part of this community. I really appreciate it and wish you all good luck in what ever you do.


This is my last post but don't be suprised if you see me drifting around here between now and sunday afternoon.


If I had to give a a date for when I come back here I'd take a wild shot in the dark and say in 3-4 months, or whenever I finish Tech School (individual job training), but rest assured, I shall return.

I may be gome for a few days. There was a power surge when my PC was booting up, and some windows files were corrupted in the process = Dead PC.

I guess it's sorta good that I got some models backed up a few weeks ago.. Yeah.. I'll pop in every now and then.

My mom said we'll have internet in a few weeks, we have to sort out stuff with the phone company (we might get their new 5mbit ADSL). Luckily, the apartment we're in was owned by University students, so it's all ready to go, they dont have to install anything. We just have to wait now. But, I guarentee i'll be back full time soon!

 

(that's a good or bad thing, depedning on your perspective. Spam wil lgo up, but the boards will be less boring. More offensive, but less boring.)
