I just got back from South Padre Island yesterday. I left on friday.
It was good times. Good drunken times.

well, i have to go an unexpected leave due to computer failure.  the fan came unplugged in my motherboard and i have to send it to the factory to get it repaired so i probably will be gone for about a month.  don't worry, though.  all the files were safe.

Hey all of you guys. I am finally back from a long and needed break from Simtropolis. I will enjoy talking to you guys again on the forums and sometimes in the chat.

Sadly, I will not be able to take back my Chat Op position because that was one of the agreements me and my father had...Long story. Anyway, glad to be back and I hope I can once again start contributing to the best SC4 fansite, and maybe upcoming Spore fansite ST.

hey all...

i just logged in to say hi and download the new stuff that has been put on the stex...

 

i just took my laptop to best buy for repair and it's gonna be out for about two weeks... heres the whole story on what happened..

 

when i bumped it, the cooling fan for the motherboard came unplugged and caused it to overheat and start to burn.  the hardware error screen was caused because when the computer reloaded was when it realized the fan wasn't there... if it had only realized about an hour earlier i wouldn't need the motherboard repalced.  but anyways the hard drive is fine and this was a great chance to get teh other obscure problems with it fixed... like the broken USB ports, the spring that fell out of the floppy drive door, and the fact that it is only running on 50% memory (the video card is tied through the motherboard memory, slowing it down considerably.  on most computers, the video card has it's own memory... but as i have said in other threads my computer is a frustrating piece of crap.

 

so, i wont be around very much untill it comes back, but when it does i will be alot more BAT active...  it is alot easier to bat with a mouse instead of that frustrating touchpad.

Over the march break, my dad's dog chewed up my camera, I got new shoes for only 30$, and other than that it was uneventful and boring...

 

And my brother came in third in his tournament in Stillwater. And my dad kept complaining about some store in Mall of America that sells only socks. And nothing else.

Actually, I must also leave. Easter holiday. Happy cuz it's a four day weekend (full of pay days, breakfasts, big dinners, chocolate, and being forced to partake in a religion which contradicts many aspects of my life) but sad cuz I won't be seeing you guys for a few days. The library is close all four days (friday, sunday and monday are holidays, and it's never open saturdays) so I really have no way whatsoever to be here without being at school. I will vanish at 12.48p today, not to return until about 12.15p next tuesday.

Don't worry, though. You'll get by without me

I'm leaving for South Carolina in Friday afternoon for Easter, my grandmother's 58th birthday and for the funeral of another family member. Will return to GA on Sunday.

I might also take an extra day or two off to reflect on the loss of an old friend of mine who died last Sunday. I hadn't talked to her in about two years and feel a little guilty about that. All in all, I'm okay with it but I just need to think.
