    A morning glory muffin is a regular bran muffin all dressed with shreds of carrot, coconut, raisins and walnut chunks.  Just about as decadent as you can get in a bran muffin.

     

    Currently: A mandarin orange and water.

    It was barbecue day here in sunny south Texas:  beef shish kabobs, char sui pork chops, teriyaki chicken thighs, oyster sauce steaks...

    Of course, sticky white rice and pasta salad are mandatory.  Okay, I admit, I'm not a very good "Texan."
