The parking entrances are only eyes candy at this time, like with the Fulbright Tower. But if I use the transport editor, probably I'll add an way to connect all the entrances with the avenues or roads without to have six intersection here ;)

But, like the parking level will be used like foundation in the loteditor, I don't know if I can do connection with the TE or if this will work correctly in the game.

I need to down light on the plaza one by one :boggle: , an real pass time :)

Wow, lights on the tower are spot on IMO! Perfect! :golly:

However, those plaza lights are not only "cute", but also too concentrated on

one spot. So far, they appear as tiny dots of light surrounded by total

darkness. It would be great if you managed to make them cast some

diffused light over the plaza. Not strong, but subtle. Keep up the great

    job!

Oh yes, true, I didnt realize they were actual lamp posts! I thought they were decorative lights in the floor and that lamp post would still be added.

About the parking entrances, I think as well that 6 looks a bit too many. I mean, would you ever have the need for so many entrances? I'd imagine it would rather complicate things in a parking garage.

By the way, congrats to your Sherry Netherland Hotel release, simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-GGG!!!

If the parking level is going to be a foundation then you won't be able to do what you want to do.  You can TE it, and it will make the connection to the lot, but if the parking garage is underground then the roads leading into the lot will cut off into a wall.

Yes, the 5 roads look excessive. Apart from that, I'd say DING DING DING - Jackpot! :golly:

I don't want to rain on your parade if you really do want those 6 intersections, but this might help.

Thanks all for your comments and your support.

@Za: thanks for the picture, I'll can do some modifications for the street level. But I don't know if I'll model trees, they probably can't appear when we plop the building on a decline ground.
Okay, for the moment, I'll remove the road texture and I'll add an concrete texture.

Great job, but I would suggest you take a look at that picture that Za posted, and maybe (if Im not mistaken Za took it from the Bing Maps) take a better look in Bing Maps and see what other details are missing from your model, especially that huge plaza.

Details are what makes a difference between good and a great BAT. Don't rush, take your time.

This looks to me like the concrete exterior walls of the parking, not entrance ( the entrance is at the top of the pic and at the bottom as well. ) :P

Wow, really beautiful job on the nite scene! The nite reflections are splendid!

I agree also with the comments about the side entrances, they're just too many for my taste.
And also the plaza would look even better with more details as Vlasky said.

Keep up the wonderful work! :thumb:

Thanks guys for your supports, and the BoA will be ready soon ;)

But today, I work on this small shop located at Colorado Spring, Colorado. I like this buildings design, and I think the game need some buildings like them :)

This is an 1x4 tiles building.

I need to corrected some textures and add roof junk, to complete this BAT.
The roofs seems odd, but I'm working on to add dirt and fix this concrete who's look like wood on the left building.

Fantastic.  I love the arched windows.  How about having some kind of Alarm fitted to the front facade of the shops?

    Long building is looong.

@skyscraper: The bottom left view looks like a zoom 5 to me.

I like it, but the blank wall brick looks ridiculous. Like a giant sheet of noise.

Also, as with some of your other buildings, the canopies look a bit too clean and lack detail. They don't have to be dirty, but having a flat color isn't great. Using some subtle noise, and maybe some dirt/bleaching with a cellular map in composite would help. Look at our good friend aaron's canopies. They are an example of what to do. Just a little subtle grunge.

Other than that, I really like how these buildings are coming out. Very unique, as well, because of their size.

I love the faded coca cola logo, there is a building in my hometown with that on it's side too! Great touch :)

It could be better if you made a 16x24m(6m of backyard) version of it with the same frontage so CJers and casual players don't have to plop or custom zone everything for this building to appear.

I think this is a good lot size.

We have a lot of 1x2s, and we have some 1x3s (we need more), but we have very few 1x4s, and sometimes there are situations when you are zoning for that size, but there aren't many (any?) buildings of that type for that size.

    So I think 1x4 is a good size.  :)

I'm glad to see you like it. This is my first in this design :D and thanks for your support !!

I've made this building, because the game miss lot size like this for the commercial. And in the real life, we can see many buildings with this size in  downtowns.

The second version, with white bricks and darks roofs ;)
