I think the diagonal version is a good idea! Make it a ploppable overhanging lot, use stuff [shameless self-plug] like the IRM filler sets [/shameless self-plug] to dress up the surroundings, and you could make something nice.

Btw, there IS diagonal industrial stuff out there. IIRC, Murimk and/or paeng released an antire set called "Gridbusters". What I don't like about this set is that, ironically, it relies on a base texture that emphasises the square grid strongly, tile for tile. That kind of cancels out the grid-breaking effect of the diagonal buildings and lot shapes for me...

A diagonal version would be tip-top.

Flyhigh: Thanks Max and as I told you, I was not away : p I was in Der Bunker :P

Girafe: Thank you very much :)

gutterclub: thank you :) you want some of that rust? :P

anton: like what? and I explained earlier that because walls are polygons, they are see-trough from the back so transparency of the glass has to below.

T Wrecks: I will try my best with lotting, and hopefully you'll be here to advise me. I'll try to do it without any plugins, but you can always re-lot it ;) hahaha if you ever have a wish to do it. Not sure if I should make IRM one as well, or to wait as you told me?

SimCoug: It has been decided! It will be diagonal as well! :)

    MTT9: Thanks!

    libellibicus: Here it comes :)

So these are night light shots. You like them? If nobody has objections I could be exporting this tonight : 0 I was thinking this is pretty much one large hall so how could I light it up but that it doesn't look like it's on fire, so I came up with slightly dimmed lights. Actually the only ones that are off are in the "office" on the corner. lol, talking about artistic imagination :P

If anyone has any advice on how to do diagonal exporting, modding, lotting or point me to some tutorial, I'll appreciate it :) I know nothing about it :((

Aaron Graham: Thank you my dear child

libellibicus: Thank you my dear stepson :P

    darn42: thank you neighbor!

Sgt Pepper: Thank you founding father!

    MTT9: Thank you gurlfriend :)

Amthaak: Done and done! And thank you brother :)

    Sciurus: Thank you soldier!

Todd's Packaging Plant is being moded (for all your discontent about the wait you may contact certain gentleman who goes by name anotn wink wink). lol It should be ready for uploading soon.

But we move on dear gents. This is the deal, I wanted to make a building for someone who shall remain nameless but very special to me. SO this person, that is very fond of me, appreciate an architectural movement from the early 20th century in our lovely dear grandmother Europe. And with me being a bum from New York, I had no option but to mix architectural tendencies noticeable on many Belgrade building's from the late 20s and 30s with my New York aspirations, and we got this little baby here:

Still some modeling needs to be done, and materials on the retail floors are just there so you can see what is there, not by any means near final. So what say you populus Simtropolus? Yey or Ney?

Yey it is! Thank you guys!!

Now I've added the penthouse and a few more details are left to be modeled, mostly roof junk, but I can promise you this, this baby will look completely different once I start texturing it, trust me :) few surprises are coming :)

Thank you my loyal friends :)

This is the update on the Chubrilo Ltd. Building. First textures applied. Most of them. A lots of tweaking yet to come :) But by now you have the idea about the texturing I've mentioned before.
