If you mean windows lights then yes. I'm trying to figure out if I should put real lightings in the windows or not....we'll see. This was just a render/night lighting test. So I really need some opinions if its too bright, not bright enough or if its odd looking.

The arch is huge, i never thought it was this big.

and i like the new color for 2 IFC, i'm happy that it's still alive and as always, great job guys.

@ bixel: I think the spotlights are just fine. Not too glaring and flashy, more on the subtle side. But they still emphasize the building and add that certain extra touch.

I agree with mcarch, though, that it looks a bit odd without any windows lit.

What about the rooftop area? Is that final, or will those coloured boxes be replaced / modified in the final version?

Anyway, so far the complex looks incredible.

Excellent choice skyscraper, even though it is a relatively easy building, the Sun Hung Kai is one of my favorites because it is the production company for all those building I have been doing, Arch, Harbourside, Union Square Project, etc..

The trick is to get those window textures just right. If you want I will see if I can create 6 different window textures for the Sun Hung Kai, use the simtropolis tools plugin called random window colors. Once all your windows have been named select all c1_ apply texture1, select c2, apply texture2 and so on.

 

Or! You can use one big window texture that is mapped over the entire glass box. Its up to you. Sun Hung kai is a cool buidling!

 

T Wrecks: I am not to sure what is exactly on the roof of the Arch, But I do know those colored boxes are there, cause they contain the elevators, and they are in all the pics. I do plan on sprucing up the roofs, with a deck/patio, chairs, flora, and maybe a bar.

 

mcarch: Yup I will eventually put nightlites in, right now I have to test to find out if I can use real lights this time, instead of the crappy texture nite windows.

The Sun Hung Kai centre is looking very good, I'm glad we found such a good batter

I rendered the Central Plaza succesfully today and I'll send it to T Wrecks soon. I left out the entrance hall because i didn't have any good pictures of it

Keep the Hong Kong buildings up, therfore it can make my Hong Kong ( I mean my city journal ) alive......

 

Actually I really do not know that the Immigrartion Building in Hong Kong looks like... Are there any pictures?

sckyscraper: I kinda went crazy on the textures cause there was just so many neat colors in those windows. So I optioned for a matrix of window colors. Basically I assembled them as they appeared in HONG KONG pictures that he provided.

 

Anyway here's an example of the windows, but the full zip file is in the attach.

I made 9 different colors all 512x512 I think it will go something like this, I hope you understand my schematic

 

Do whatever you think is best, if you want I will see if I can make gradient by request.
