Great work on the Central Plaza but the colour of the glass windows can be a little bit darker.

Very beautiful detailed work at the Central Plaza!
The color organization is very exactly after the model so far. I found only a very bad photo of the entrance, that has unfortunately too few light.

Now to the Centre. The texture of the right model is more realistically than the left however a little too bright.
The lighting became outstanding. Only one thing is confusing something, where is the entrance41.gif

Central Plaza has a lego-ish look to it somehow... the original, I mean. 9.gif Still a very impressive skyscraper, and your representation of it looks superb!

Seeing the recent hype for diagonal buildings here, it might be an option to BAT a triangular base that would line up with adjacent streets... in that case, the base could be used as an overhanging prop for the ploppable version, but left out for the regular growable version... I dunno if that would sound interesting to anyone...

About the Centre, I agree with HONG KONG: I like the texture of the right version even better, but especially the angled surfaces end up a bit too bright in game. The night lights are great, though, and so is the rest of the model.

Dang, when I finally have my internet connection back, my mailbox will burst. 41.gif

First I want to thank everyone for the positive replies.

Second: Here in this topic we always get positive feedback which is really appreciated. The only thing bothering me is that it is always from the same group of people (HONG KONG, Fantail, T Wrecks, Mcarch, Jesselong, Toxicpiano). We really get very little attention from other people. They might be looking at the thread, seen in the number of pageviews we have. But there are hardly any posts. And this while other similar threads do get a lot of attention. I think this is a pitty. If readers would just take some time to post something, it would really improve my motivation. Therefor I would like to ask to just take some time to post something. I would really appreciate it very much. I hope the others agree with me on this subject.

Third: Ever since we started the team, there have been only the two of us (bixel and me) who are doing the batting. We had one person who wanted to join us, but we never heard from him since. It is really a lot of hard work to make these towers and we could use some more batters in the team. This is stated several times but without any succes. At leas Fantail is learning the bat and will be able to help us, but we could use all the help we can get. So if you're interested and you have some batting skills, please feel free to join us. It doesn't matter if you'll make one building or several. Your help is greatly appreciated.

    That's all for now

Yup, RLS is really getting to me right now + the fact I'm on two teams HK BAT TEAM, and the City of Roses Team. I got Sparkythepenguin's Hatfield I have to fix, and Paulvmontfort's colossal Pacific Place that also needs fixing and nightlighting. On top of that I have a nearly completed Arch gathering cobwebs.

We definetly need more BATters, perhaps we should start a recruiting thread in the Open Discussion? I was thinking of asking kd4rax to join us, but he is a bit of a 'lone wolf' type and has his own agendas. I would really like someone interested in the Hong Kong wharf, its industry and transit networks. I thought about trying my hand at making some highway peices but I have no clue how.

2ch.net Simplayer, is pretty good batter, he's made some really cool Chinese buildings like the zhonghua zutao China Cityblock Pack
    Maybe he might be interested?
