Well mine is pretty simple. I have an obsession with Japanese imports and the Nissan Skyline GTR is one of my faves. So i took the Skyline out and put the R of the GTR together and added 22 my birthdate. Kinda catchy if you say so. Also my avatar shows all the GTRs gotta love em!

On the first time I registered on a site, Leech was already taken, so I stuck a number on the end. Not sure how I ended up with 10, though... I have kept the same username at all sights that I use (well, the ones that I still remember about), except for 3: Once was Chocolatemax's forums where I used with 10 Leeches, the SCJU site where I use Leech, and on zompist where I used Goza Lesha (it needed to be at least 10 characters long. Goza Lesha is "The Leech" in Zevino'shoma, the language of Zabitake)

Masochist...why the heck did I choose this name?

No, I'm not really a masochist. And no, I wasn't out for shock and awe, surprisingly.

Simply put, at the time I joined this site, I just really liked the word. Thought it sounded cool, you know? The strange thing is, it actually stuck...weird. But that's my name in the SC4 community.

I wanted to make my username SpecialEd at first, but I didn't want anyone thinking I had a learning disability (3.gif) so I made it SpecialEddie. Patriots was the only who got it. 38.gif

For me, I used this username for the SC3K Website. I was planning on uploading loads of buildings, so I figured, why not put down a form of architecture? So I did the first thing that popped into my head. Arches. Randomly, I added 'rule' 'cause I think arches is a terrible name. Then just to add even more to the complexity (I thought somebody else likely had it, I added the first number to come into my head- 29. Because I remembered it so well, I figured I should use again! Make it your universally used usename!  So, that's how I got:

ARCHESRULE29!!!

Well, i use this username at almost every forum, unless my real name. Cs. and G. are the first letters of my first and last name, and Cseri is my nickname.

I wasn't feeling very witty the day I signed up for ST so I did this:

Call of Duty + Battlefield 1942 = Callbat (sans the '42)

and now its practically the name I use for all forums, so if you see a callbat, thats me!

I just basically made my username up because...

BB (Baseball) + Fan (I am a huge fan) + 2 (Derek Jeter) = Bbfan02!

El Burro - The Donkey - Also a Character in the GTA series

Basically, me and some of my old High School friends decided it would be fun to have Spanish/Mexican orientated names that we could call each other by... El Pedro Diablo, El Cheecho Diablo and El Burro Diablo... made English lessons fly-by. I've used it as my online persona and a nickname for, umm... bout 5-6 years now, although since mid 2006 iv'e changed to 'BurroDiablo'.

I used to be a Admin on an online games server (SAMP), I constantly got Spanish speakers asking me if I spoke their language... it was pretty irritating, almost made me change my name once (to 'The Knight of Ni' [whooo, a Monty Python reference])

Well so what if the same subject is covered in a different thread over here!  Mystery of ur nickname

I think I'll swipe from myself for once! 9.gif

And I quote (myself)

Recent experiences in chat have made me realize the need to revive this so I can have something on record.  Although... I had no idea this thread was so old!  blows off dust.

The name "purpledaddy"  came from one of my children.  That child didn't speak until late in life and only began to identify people by colors.  The child first called me, ehem, "purpledaddy".  He also called my wife "brown mommy".  And then there was green sister, orange brother, brown neighbor,  white neighbor,  orange grandma, yellow grandpa, pink cousin, etc.  It was many years ago and to this day I have no idea what any of that was about.  The child speaks regularly now, but I keep the name for sentimental reasons. (I'm just old softie I guess! 9.gif)    However,  I'm also very amused that others associate the name to something odd or kinky. 20.gif  And now I have something real and down-to-Earth to show them! 17.gif

unquote (of myself)

Addendum: My wife actually suspects that purple came as the choice b/c  Barney the Dinosaur was seen as a father figure by my child at that time.  Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!    6.gif6.gif6.gif

Interesting because it translates as "little bird".

Eh, are not there another thread like this? I remember answered a reason but this is not the thread... confusing.

Well, my username is easy: Alejandro is my second name (I don't like my first one) and the number 24 is just my number.

I think this is the original thread. It was started in 2007.
