Any update from Dirk or anyone? I hit a record 1B/sec today! Though some files seem to do better than others.

I just stumbled across this thread today, looking for help with a city growth issue. I've been here awhile and I never knew about the Opera House problem... I went into my city of about 680,000 sims and hunted for the building and deleted it just now. Before this, demand for CO$$$ and CS$$$ was in the negative for no apparent reason...and a lot of the new residential zones that I placed weren't growing at all (high desirability, high demand, I looked at all the issues). I ran the simulation into the next month, and I instantly saw the CS and CO$$$ demand skyrocket to maximum (I even got Simgoober's Bellsouth tower reward), and my population went up to 750,000 in the next few months. I've had the opera house there for countless years (maybe over 200 by now) and never even knew a thing about it...seems like a dire issue to me! Anyway, hope this helps.

All of the front runners have a strong message to convey. The only thing that seems to come into question for both Huckabee and Obama is their experience. Seems like Huckabee would be pretty close to Bush if he were to be elected, in my opinion... I do agree, however, that this year will most likely belong to the democrats. They seem to have a great energy about them this year, and Obama's speech last night rivaled that of MLK or JFK.

I think that God and global warming shouldn't necessarily be in the same concept. I need a Bible verse to explain this...but I can't find one relating to global warming. However, Revelations tells of possible nuclear war...the visions of John the Revelator can interpreted in a few different ways. I've read that there are far more scientists that support global warming than not, though, I'm not sure why anyone would say it's a myth...It's true that it's here, it's just how it will effect the world is the real contraversy.

I bet if they did this in any other place in the world, they would get the same results. Just because they did this in America doesn't mean that there aren't other stupid people in other countries
