Good work amigo, to be more real, only if the cars had 2 wheels on the tarmac and 2 wheels on the side walk, over the yellow line 2.gif

    Hello again....

Maybe this is the wrong place to post those testing pics....but I dont have the time to support any more threads, so I´ll keep talking about my relation with SC4 in this thread.

For those of you who do not understand the meaning of those previous pictures ( in work and in results)  I have decided to put themod to work in one of Simtropia´s existing cities. I hope you remember this one, and you can notice the difference with the new mod 2.gif

that mod looks really cool and very real. i think that the birch tree model (thats whats it looks like, it's the one most used in the 2nd mosaic) looks the best. when i think of what  i want a tree mod to look like that it was i imagine. i also like the cars along the road. i think it would look more real if one of the tires were on the street instead of the whole car being on the sidewalk/grass. that would probably be easyer to do on the roads because they are wider then the streets. great work!

oh man! those testing pics are great! it's hard to describe it with words!

Hello jeronij, well its a great mod, just in my opinion it seem a bit (sobrecargado) overcrowed i some residencial areas, in some some shots u can see the buildings, but I think it's promising...

Man, I need that mod. This can boost up all of my cities. You should do such things with roads, avenues, and highways.

I think, these trees would look wonderful between the two lanes of the avenue.

You know, I got a question: why can't you change the rails too? Overhead cables can be as props too? Or did I say some stupid?

Good ol' Liberty Islands! Someday, I'll repost my old CJ.

The mod adds so much to the CJ! Fantastic job. It looks like what a neighborhood should look like.

For the third time, the trees overcrowd areas to where you don't even see the street anymore. However, I still like the concept of the mod. I wish you luck in deciding what to do with the mod.

I started looking at you CJ today. I'm here for more than two hours now and I looked only the first 32 pages(Until the end of Bonanova city). Congratulations, I feel sad sometimes because I dunno how to do something like this =( . But you inspired me =). Tomorrow I'll look more at it to learn more. And,please,I'm sorry if my english is not the best,it's because I'm Brazilian,so english is not a natural language for me (well,I've been studying it for 6 years now,but...)

    Congrats.. 2.gif

I think it was very realistic for high density- low wealth. However, at least so far, the cars look like they are parked on grass in the lower densities. But great job so far!

It looks good at first, no doubt, but after I have been studying it up closer for awhile, it gets the kind of *too much of everything* looking, don't you think? That's my opinion.

This, amigo, is a "obra de arte" (hoping this translation is good!)

as for the trees overcrowding some areas, we must not forget that those are aerial pictures, and in RL we have streets with that much and even more trees thna that where you can't see the streets from above (just look at some citites with google earth!).

All in all a great mod my friend, waiting for it to be released!

    Regards

    -John

Yes, Darmock is right, there is a lot of cities/places where the trees almost cover/cover parcilaly the streets, specially in suburbs. And his translation is also correct, amigo.

    Good work Jeronij.

    Cheers

I like your thought process but I have to agree with Mrbison I believe it is a bit too much of everything looking the same. (besides I still think the trees are too big).

Maybe you could add a randomizer in the mod so not every street looks the same ???

Still think that the trees are to big and sometimes they go into eatchother, wich creates some graphical glitches. My suggestion would be to make a prop-group of the smallest tree models with some distance between eatchother to create some more space, aswell as actually beeing able to see the street.

i agree with metasmurf and mrbisonm, the mod looks realy good , but some trees are to big and to less space between them. maybe it looks realistic, but in simcity i want to see the streets a bit, so i know where my streets are^^

but i m  also look for  the release 1.gif

Omg seeing how much work is involved in making a cj ,has just put me off the idea of starting 1 myself, this is massive and very detailed ,its just taken me an hour to do the first 7 pages ,i realy like the walls u made ,and the trees are cool,i like how they overhang the road,if placed nearby.

yeh the trees doo block out most of the street, however this is realistic. (im looking out of my front window now at the trees on the sides of the roads, and from a birds eye view they would probably block all of it out)

any way, maybe for the games sake could you spred them out a bit more? i think the cars are spaced good now.44.gif

this is going to kill the loading time for my cities, >_< dam

*41.gifany way where can i get my hands on the rapids?41.gif*

Looks really good! Although maybe too much or too big trees, it needs some finetuning in my opinion, but great job also with the cars, I like them, but in Hi-Density you don't often see cars on pavement, because it is simply not allowed at most places. But for low density it's gorgeous!
