    Thanks guys :)

Finnbhennach:  Sorry for the late reply.  That method has been experimented with by darn42 which I guess I didn't explain very well.  He's posted about it either in his own bat thread or in the chicago bat team thread, and he was experimenting using his Chase Tower BAT.  I had experimented myself with the same thing, back in 2006 I think, but like you said it's tedious so I never actually used it.  :P  Except more lately I've just had rectangles doing the same thing to give a little bit of a sense of depth.  I do think it's a good idea though, it would just take a lot of work to set up.

Progress on some of the smaller buildings.  For some reason some of the image is really jagged but whatever.  :P

Are there any tutorials on how to make a model from 3ds max into SC4Model file for prop?

Thanks everyone.  :)  I'll be BATing more tomorrow and I'll have another update.

Konstantin:  The process is the same except in the Plugin Manager you drag and drop the .SC4Model file into the Prop category instead of any of the other categories.

So today I'm going to work a lot on this and see how close to being done I can get it.  :P

edwardjeria:  I don't remember, but on the previous page I have a render showing both towers.

    Awesome complex Jason!

I was looking through Alex's (xannepans) BAT thread over at SC4D and he used a technique that allows his famous sewalls to now change depending what sidewalk override each player uses.  Heres the link to how he did it.

I think it would be pretty neat if you could make that happen for the main terrace of your building - I think it could really blend seamlessly into the rest of the scene, no matter what each player had in their plugin folder.   :)

In fact, it would be awesome if this sort of became standard BAT procedure for any BATed base that blends into the sidewalk.

is great, as you know I like the buildings decorated and told him I would put my parke front so my question is if you have trees, benches and fountains

    Thanks everyone.  :)

Xander Dax:  Thanks.  Yeah for some reason there aren't many Canadian buildings.

    dubaidude303:  Thanks :)

Vlasky:  This is the largest a BAT project of mine has ever been, and even the thickness of the towers is more than usual for me.  Although I prefer to have the area around the base of my skyscrapers more tidy and simple.    ;)

SimCoug:  Unfortunately that technique is really only useful for when you need pavers but can't use a ground texture directly (for example, overhanging pavers).  From my understanding from reading it, the method has the LOD literally use the paver textures.  It's basically a way of making a prop that has the appearance of a ground texture but is in a weird shape.  Within the interior of a lot it would be the same as just using a paver texture in the lot editor.

edwardjeria:  The plaza will have trees and benches.

Almost done!  A few things here and there to texture, two pieces of roof junk to make, and then just a bunch of plaza stuff.  :)

    Awesome work Jason :O

I really like the plaza, your pavement is beautiful and with the details this BAT will be very cool ;) . But what's the dark plane below the buildings?

Anyway keep it up man ;)
