The Silver Lining...

The motar has been layed, the plants watered, and the pillows fluffed...

Kinata Region's Embassy is Ready for the official opening during the visit by Kinata Leader, Magpieshooter.

It sits in a calm area behind Darmok Hill in Green River, below the Embassy sit the blooming Green Memorial Gardens in loving memory of all the lives lost in the Day of Chaos Bombings.

In the bottom of this mosaic is River High, the new public high school.

Onto other areas of Green River, Business Hill has expanded and grown...

I cannot quite remember if I have shown this area before, but I recently updated it massively, so I will show it now...

Known as Bat Boulevard, I consider this as my personal favorite street in all Green Depra.  A beautiful drive.

I hope you all enjoyed that short but hopefully sweet update.

Your tree-lined avenue is simply awesome, Choco! I am always impressed by the way you present your CJ - lots of trees with an excellent blend of colours from differnet types of buildings. Buildings, roads, and the environment just co-exist in Green Depra!

Palm plaza looks so solemn and unique in one of your mosaic... and not to mention the use of brick streets that gives Green Depra another touch of realisticity! Your CJ is just stunning, beuatiful, brilliant, awesome and colourful!

You've never failed to surpise me with all your excellent mosaics and city layout! Keep up the good work!

just curious, your screenshots are very crisp and clear. even with smart blur/soften etc i cant get mine like yours. I take screenshots at 1024*768 and play the game at 800*600(i play on a laptop). What resolution is at? do you have a better gfx card or something?

Oh to go to school with a backdrop like that. The embassy is amazing and the gardens are great. There is such color and diversity in the pics that each one is a joy to look at. It does, however, look like there is a tree growing out from Bat Boulevard near that small group of shops in that first mosaic. If left alone, that'll wreck havoc on the asphalt. But enough of that... great update.

AWESOME! What a great bunch of mosaics! The trees add so much to the city by adding beauty and relaxation. The walls also add to the city just because they are cool looking. I think all the little extras like the logs next to the mansion are quite impressive. Thanks for another great update!

I am starting two new cities in Green Depra, and I need some names!  So I want to hear your entries, anyone can enter as much as they want, although DO NOT post a huge list of names, I don't want that, just one or two names per person...  What do you think a new, green city of Green Depra should be called....

For prizes, I will award a Special Citizenship to the winner, if they are already a citizen then I will build them their own, huge, mansion in the town that they named!

so... NAME A NEW CITY OF GREEN DEPRA!

Ruhlcore Hey! Welcome to the CJ. I’m glad you like it! Haha, that’s a first then, the first person I’ve made want to sing from an update! That’s okay, the writing is just side stuff, enjoy the images! Nope, I have a pretty average computer, but I tell you, it takes forever to load Simcity! But, I don’t have a huge amount of plugins compared to some other CJers, the trick is to pick and choose the BATs and mods you really want to keep the folder size down. Anyway, good luck! I hope you enjoy it here at Simtropolis and I hope to see you around again! Cheers.

HamsterTK I play at the resolution 1024*768, which provides very clear and crisp pictures, the graphics card shouldn’t make a difference, but if your res is lower than that then it will have an effect. I have an okay card, but I don’t imagine it would be that. Anyway, thanks for popping by and goodluck!

You put the Green Depra Embassy in Kinata to shame, the embassy is brilliant, I absolutly love it! I think this is calling for Depra Parklands... I might do something of the type.

On the opening, we'll work it out next time we're both on MSN at the same time.

Wow! You've done so much with building cities in this CJ, but you haven't even covered half the region! You still got a long way to go, and for that, I'm happy b/c that means that this CJ will be going for a long time, too! The mosaic is really beautiful, too!

As for the city names competition, I'll go with...well, on second thought, the one I was going to say will probably be the name of my CJ if I ever get one started, so I don't want to let it go. I'll just go with some made-up word like Onisque.

Anyway, I look forward to this new city!
