Mr Piggy Hello!  Welcome to the CJ! 44.gif I'm glad you liked the green-ness of the CJ, and I guess you can judge this book by its cover.  I'm glad you liked the paper and the mosaics so much, thanks!  There is no secret, all I do is adjust the contrast a little in photoshop! 3.gif Not much really!  I hope to see you around again.

Coming back in full force. Just as I expected. It is good to see you back and even better to see the work you have done. The opening is great with the swirls and all. And, in addition to the large mosaic, the freeway ending/toll plaza is really well done. The paper was great, and, as Darmok had said, the snail story had me laughing too. Good to see you back, and always looking forward to more.

He's Back. Back where he belongs! Chocolate Max's Green Depra. On at anytime you feel like on SimTropolis.com!
    (Parody of Family Feud Promo!)

But anyway, it's great that you are back working on Green Depra. Looking at it makes me wanna go down to the carribean markets and grab myself a copy of photoshop2.gif2.gif. I really want to use Photoshop for all of my pictures for Mornington Peninsula.

And Yay! You've used my freeway signs. Yours are almost done. Sorry for taking so long with them. I (as you would know) have just started school again for the year and have been busy with homework, friends etc... but i've got some time today to finish them off and maybe even put them up on the STEX.

I'll PM you when the're up.

Great newspaper. I always like that font used for the word Times but can never find it. 29.gif I also like those really long pictures that give you a look of a lot of your town. Overall, I love how lush everything looks, and so cleancut. Great work.

    Hello Everyone!

Guess where I am?  Melbourne!  And I'm doing my work experience at an architecture place.  Its really interesting.  But anyway, to the point, I've had 2 updates lined up for nearly two weeks now, but this is how it happened:

    1. My home internet stops working for 4 days!  What am I supposed to do?

    2. Then, the day I finally get it fixed, I am uploading my pictures, and I open up simtropolis, only to find its down!!  It stays like that for a whole week!

    3. Then, when its finally up, its 1 o'clock at night, and I'm about to fall over from tiredness, I would have done it then, but the site was confusing, and I was too tired to figure it out.  So I plan to do it in the morning before I leave for work experience in the city.  Good plan.

    4. So I wake up to find its down, again! And I was leaving for work experience in three hours.  But luckily, it says simtropolis will be back in just two!!

    5. So then, just before I leave, I check back, and am all ready to update, but alas!  Dirk postponds it for another two hours!  Too late, I'm leaving in one!

    6. I'm here staying at my aunties in Melbourne, far away from all my Green Depra info.  There is nothing I can do, I can only post, not update!

    Bad luck eh? 17.gif21.gif

So, saturday (or possibly sunday, whenever I get back) I will be back at my own home computer, with all my files which are just waiting to be posted here, in simtropolis 5.0!!  So I'm sorry, but because of really bad timing, an ancient update of canilla won't be seen till this weekend.

EDIT: Plus its holidays from this weekend onwards, thanks to the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, and so I'll have plenty of time for many updates! Yay!

I hope you all are still interested!

Thanks for all of your wonderful comments guys!  bunny.gif

    Cheers!  9.gif

Gee.. Victoria gets out way before us Queenslanders. I'm quite looking forward to the Commonwealth Games, real shame I'm not going, sometime in the next few years I'll finally visit Melbourne.

Of course I am also greatly looking forward to your next update. Will be great to see it on Saturday and enjoy work experience!

Thanks Magpieshooter, I am really excited too!  I have tickets to the athletics finals.  So I'm really looking forward to that!  I can't wait to see the MCG all dressed up.

And I can't believe you haven't visited Melbourne!  Its such an amazing place, so cultured, and arty.  I like it alot, and you have to visit it soon! 9.gif

Yes I'm very disappoited that I haven't yet been to Victoria, especially after visiting Alice Springs, Cairns, Dubbo, Sydney, Canberra, the Snowy Mountains and all the places between, but not yet Melbourne. We were intending to go as we had already been to the Sydney Olympics, Rugby World Cup and Goodwill Games but we didn't end up getting tickets. Very sad. Now we have to watch it on Fox Sports instead.

Take your time chocolatemax! You deserve a break. And like I said to many other people who create CJs, right now a lot of them are either taking breaks or the new system is way too complicated for them to use for the moment... so it may take some time for everyone to start updating CJs on a regular basis.

Besides that, can't wait for you to start updating your CJ. 18.gif

Hey, three things I can relate with you:

    Guess where I am?  Melbourne!quote>

    Same here of course!

And I'm doing my work experience at an architecture place.  Its really interesting.quote>

I am doing work experience also! You're lucky getting into an architecture place. Gusss where I am, Hungry Jacks!18.gif

Plus its holidays from this weekend onwards, thanks to the Commonwealth Games in Melbournequote>

Same here of course as well! But this means we get 12 week long terms for terms 2, 3 & 4.15.gif

You've got tickets, lucky you. My dad honestly doesn't give a "put an appropriate word here" about the Commonwealth Games. Unless he can get some tickets through is work, I wont be going (A shame really when all of this is happening only 25km from my house in the east of melbourne) I know as a fact that my dad works with Cadbury / Schweeps and buys products from them for his job and they are major sponsors of the comm games so im hoping tickets will come thru it but with 7 days to go, the outlook is pretty grim.

Good to hear than an update is coming through on the weekend. I have to admit that I haven't played simcity 4 for at least a fortnight. I recently got a new hard drive for my computer which I installed myself (which was really hard to put in because of so many cables and not much room for them!) so I've been installing all games I haven't been able to play because they wouldn't fit on the old one so i've been sidetracked by that. I'll try to work on it some more if i'm in the mood and will probably start MP back up when the CJ Blog system is set up by Dirk.

Anyways, see you later. I'm going to watch one of my favourite shows now. Prison Break! Hope you like it too (along with Lost, Amazing Race, All new simpsons........etc!)
