Absolutely stunning! I love the contrast with the dark green pine tree's and the red brick roads and red roofs. They go very well with each other.

The flag does look like Canada's, but green. That's a good thing though.

Thanks so, so, so, so much for all the gracious comments everyone.  And its great to see the legend deadwoods pop in.  Your upsoming BATs sound great and I look forward to them greatly.

 

Unfortunately, I am going through a difficult time in real life at the moment and I don't think I can manage Green Depra at the moment.  While I love doing this, I am just going through a classic case of RLS. 

 

Green Depra isn't finished, its just on a temporary hiatus at the moment.  I will get back to it as soon as I can, but first I need to catch up with RL.  I am so sorry everyone.  It might be two weeks, it might be four.  But Green Depra will return, I promise!

 

I hope everyone will come back when the updates come back.

I'm sorry to hear about your real life break up and I hope you get things in your life back on track very soon. I totally understand the reasons to halt Green Depra. Some people have to remember that real life ALWAYS comes before SimCity and SimTropolis.

Hello Everyone!  I'm back....

 

 

 ...and I'm really excited about it too!  I hope everyone is glad to see Green Depra back, and I hope you all like the new look of Green Depra's design! (the swirls) 

 

 The new update, and the 30th update ever!!

 

This will be a simple update, but a grande one too. 

 

First up, lets check back with Green Depra news and global affairs with the latest edition of The Green Depra Times.  Check out the new look!  I started the new look months and months ago, but never finished it until now.  I think it looks more like a real paper, with a Green Depra style.  And remember, if you want to have an add for your pretent company or anything really, then just request it!  Please excuse any typos. Enjoy...

 

 

 

 

And now... Lets look at todays mosaic!  Its from Canilla...

 

 

This is the largest mosaic I've ever made... And its HUGE!  With over 22 pictures its probably the biggest ever posted on simtropolis!  But remember moderators, these are all 800X600 pictures!

 

Part of it we have already seen, but I couldn't help including it.  This mosaic shows Canilla's different feel, from its cliff-top houses with beautiful views, to the classic country main street, and then the more built up Canilla Town area.  I hope you all enjoy this...

 

 

 I did this to show you the castness of Canilla, and the variety.  And to come back with a Boom!  There is another, more detailed update already in the making!  Cheers all!

What can I say about today's update? I love the way it looks! Your mosaics are among the best, if not THE best, on Simtropolis and Green Depra could quite possibly be the most beautiful CJ in the CJ section!

 

And ofcourse the newspaper looks amazing! Great design and I love that bit about a Chaumontian official asking where Cordovia is.. Great pickup on that joke! Also, if I might be so bold: I would love to see Chaumont as a travel destination or perhaps an ad for my statue work? Something like Jarno's Statues or something.. Great job and I'm already looking forward to more!

WOW...I am stunned and overwhlemed by the work produced. It is such a fabulous update.

 

Considering the title of the CJ is GREEN Deepra I am suprised and pocessed by how beautifuly green it is. It is just mouth -droppong work...

 

Another thing I adore. ...Is the Newspaper. It is incredibly realistic and produces funny and formal articles. That I alwyas sit and read....The funny thing is I can't critisize or condone not one thing...It is so gargatunaly brilliant...

This is the best peice of entertainment on ST at the CJ section... (Well Apart form Chamount) *Jarno*

 

Anyways...I am always drawn to how green and bright your Pictutures are. I think that is what produces a level of interest in this CJ, and also what makes it uniqe...I am curious unto how you enhance your images like that..I enhance mine but they form a bit grainy, and there not very popular...So I was wondering if you culd PM me to tell me the tricks of the trade..Thankz..It will be most appreciated...

Choco, that snail spitting contest had me laughing!
That mosaic was superb! Great use of walkways, greenery (of course!), plazas and red brick streets, wich by the way I didn't like before following your CJ but now you have me liking them.
I also liked the way you did the setup of the end of the freeway (last pic of the mosaic) with the Reduce speed now billboard. Very well done!
Oh and the picture (banner) at the beginning! WOW!
