RPGs with menu-based combat, like the games I mentioned, do not involve running, jumping, or shooting in the same way, say, action platformers like Mega Man do.

Interesting note: the first five Final Fantasy games came out the same years the first five Mega Man games did.

True, but RPGs with menu-based combat are also incredibly boring and I don't care much to play them on any platform.

The only Final Fantasy game I've ever played was the first one. Didn't take long before I said "meh, this sucks" and threw it aside.

I finally got around to seeing Wreck-It-Ralph. I liked it 10x as much as my Dad did but I pretended that I wanted to go home since there were no good movies playing when we left Dad's restaurant (being remodeled) but Dad's pride was hurt that he was not able to get out early enough to see Sky Fall so I told him the only movies playing at a time convenient to us were Wreck-It-Ralph and Twilight and my sister already dragged Dad there.
