After all the hubub about the Tebow ad, it turned out to be utterly innocuous and not worth the stink that was raised over it. Of course, they're saying this ad will be graphic, so it may be a different story.

I dunno. Randall Terry has every right to air his ad, but I don't appreciate the Super Bowl being politicized. Especially over such a controversial issue.

Thing is FOX refuses to air any political ads citing equal opportunity. however the super bowl is on NBC this year and they have a different policy.

I have a passing interest in the presidential election. Of course, being American helps. And the Super Bowl is probably the fifth or sixth most important day of the year for me because football is awesome.

Thing is, according to FCC rules, TV stations are not allowed to refuse to show ads for candidates running for federal office. And the ads themselves are somewhat immune to normal rules of decency. That's actually why Randall Terry is running for president: so he can get these ads shown on TV. If he weren't, they'd never pass muster.

There's usually a few things worth watching per week down here. They're pretty much entirely limited to ABC and SBS though.
