The crazy thing is, this is the second snow we've gotten. The first was in October. Between then and now there have been several days when it has rained, but no snow. Most days have been above freezing, some significantly so. It's apparently supposed to get up to 52 degrees on Monday (with more rain). Weak-ass winter this year.

We have snow in the mountains here, but near the sea and across most of the plains there are rarely any significant acculmulations. Daytime highs here are pretty much 50F every day.

Green Lantern is the most pathetic superhero. I mean, if he's weak against anything yellow... school buses, traffic lights, smilies on the internet. Think how basically impossible it would be to go through life without encountering anything yellow. How the hell does the guy manage? Authors ignoring it when it's not convenient to the plot, that's how.
