At least it's harmless. I heard that a couple years ago some students got arrested at my former high school since their idea of a senior prank was to through water balloons filled with bleach at freshmen. Which is not funny - obviously it will ruin your clothes, but more seriously, if you get it in your eyes it can blind you. Fortunately no one was actually hurt.

I would have gone with dye instead of bleach.

I was at a couple of water gun parties in middle school. When we got bored we'd just start filling our guns up with hot water. :D

You were allowed to bring water guns to school, and you do mean the plastic toys right?

This wasn't in school. This was with friends outside of school. No, we would not have been allowed to bring them to school. And yes, I mean plastic toys (Super Soaker, etc.)

Are you even allowed to have water guns anymore? Depends on the water restrictions?

There are no water restrictions around here under normal circumstance. We don't have a scarcity issue, although there have in my lifetime been a couple of bad summer droughts which have led some places to temporarily ban washing cars and watering lawns. I can see where a city which is in a drier environment might see water guns as needless waste of water, though.

Speaking of water restrictions, Tucson, AZ has hardly any grass. Anywhere. Any grass that was actually there was dead; even the grass on the golf course was dead. Thw whole city is the second-most hideous city I've seen in AZ, next to Yuma.

Ah, water guns... One of my favorite things to do stuff with during the Summer. Dry Ice is another one. I remember my friend and I made Dry Ice bombs by putting Dry Ice in a bottle full of water and closing the cap. The neighbors probably hated us because they were loud! :P

It's more effective if you use warm water. If the water is to cool it may just form regular ice around the dry ice, which stops the bubbling. 2 liter soda bottles are the classic thing to explode. Poland Spring bottles are thin and usually just pop a leak rather than exploding. Nesquik bottles are thick and take a lot of oomph to make them blow, but if you can pull it off, it is a much louder and much more satisfying kaboom than a soda bottle.

Yes, I've experimented with this plenty. It's what I did at home during summers in college when I wasn't busy experimenting with "what happens if I set that on fire" :P

It is extremely annoying to try to write a large post in a busy thread from my phone.

One of my posts in the SimCity 2013 section was edited by a mod while I was editing it to expand it. My method is to post something short, click edit immediately, then start filling in my post. If I notice a typo, I edit it again.
