Looks like someone's still using the default texture pack. Try SMP's 16 Revival pack. Really decent look plus Glowstone blocks look like lanturns/lights for use as Street lights or building lighting.

Also, anyone see those videos of that group of players making a 1:1 recreation of Middle Earth from LoTR? Epic world is epic.

I am a regular on a small but fun multiplayer server. We are in need of fresh new players who will come and build with us. You might remember me advertising a server here before, and this is the same group of people as last time

Don't be shy, it doesn't matter if you have never played multiplayer before. If you are friendly and polite and love building in minecraft "vanilla" style with no mods in hard mode just like in single player, you are welcome to join. There is no PvP, special rules or role playing ettiquette to follow, just common courtesy and cooperation. Even if this isn't your play style, why not consider something new?

PM me your minecraft username, and I will pass it on to the server admin to be added to the whitelist and provide the address. . The user "ZyrJello" is the server administrator.

Hard mode survival server? For a mostly peaceful player like myself, I will find that difficult. I wonder if monsters spawn above block 128 in the Nether and whether you have built a Nether Express Rail Road (powered rail).

Welll my owner/girlfriend is getting me into Minecraft...I've heard you have underground caves, hundreds of recipes, etc? She told me about certain building patterns that really seem like epic quests..and is there roleplay servers for Minecraft too?

I'd rather not buy the game if it's to be dissapointed, it's the thing.

I fully endorse the awesomeness of Sam's Worldscape server! blah blah great community blah friends blah, but the best thing is, we already have a large number of people from ST (mainly those in chat) who play on the server, so you'll feel just as you wouldat home!
