Never released? Haha, too many to list/show. All due to various reasons, such as a lack of modding help, errors that needed fixing, lack of time, etc.

Just a quick look at a couple of things. Not everything here is mine, but it should be obvious which ones are. All of these were made several years ago (2005-2008), before I entered the Architecture program (which is so intensive that I no longer even have time to play the game, let alone BAT):

yeap, Simfox has a lot of unreleased bats... I've once read that he was bating mainly for the purpose to test new things in the BAT.

I dunno, he has released plenty of great things. I highly doubt we will ever the works in here now, some of Simfoxes stuff in this thread is over 5 years old! That said, I couldn't think of anything better than to be proved wrong. I think Simfox had so much unreleased stuff because he was a perfectionist..and although most of us folk would have been delighted with his works, a lot of his stuff he never seemed pleased with..especially the lotting side of things..

This thread indeed is depressing. So many great stuff unreleased. I am so glad I did not really follow through a lot of these bat threads over the years, but I am still shocked at how many things go unreleased. I can understand many of the batters are artists, some are perfectionists, but to avoid disappointment of not seeing great stuff released (probably either uploader is too busy or the learning curve to be a perfectionist becomes unbearable), I guess I will stay away from most of these bat threads.

I do however recommend Aaron Graham's thread at this stage, as it seems he is the only person who ensures that the work he shared for us will eventually be released.

I do hope that more artists (especially those who master the english language well) will consider releasing your unfinished work which you share with us on the STEX, just as sort of a closure for your fans of that respective bat, even though the bat is not totally up to your aspired standards. You always have the opportunity to re-release them later on. Even Bixel will revisit his old work and rerelease them at a later stage and I see Aaron Graham is also doing this (with his Graham Apartments).

I think if for whatever reasons you may not be fully committed to finish something, then why come here for advice and spoiled our expectations? Then again, I am just a STEX user. These wonderful piece of art work, I have no right to claim, so who am I to complain.
