Looks good, but the one area where there's seemingly no space between floors, where you have the massive windows, is actually a maintenance level. It's likely nothing but HVAC and elevator machinery and would not be lit at night. The same goes for the top two floors where the giant triple fan HVAC unit it. There's no way office space could be there when the HVAC unit already occupies the space.

There's also a couple corners of the building that have lights on one side but not the other. This would not be possible unless there's a diagonal wall coming off the corner, which would never happen.

u can't have a lighting by self illumination on glass if the glass is clear like this building. U should go with lighting by roof or by ground

Thanks guys for your comments ;)

@Girafe: Yep I'm agree with you Girafe, I've tried to use omni light but my PC isn't enough powerful. Maybe I'll do it with omni when it will be boosted or for smallest buildings. I want to use this technique as some others BATers, it's so beautiful and more realistic

Hi everyone, and thanks guys ;)

Well, I've tried to use the light inside the building, this is my first rendering than I like the result. Now I should add plasterboard to separated rooms and offices, it will be better when those details will be fixed. I think this technic is easier then the self illumination, because we doesn't need to adjust the light texture on the windows and floors.

Sorry for the rendering, it's an view 4, the next will be better, and this isn't the final result ;)

Looking great! One small detail you might take a look at are your blinds. Usually in buildings they are up or down in small clusters, not just one pulled down with its neighbors still up. Grouping the blinds like this in groups of 4, 5, 6, etc. will make it look more realistic. As far as the interiors go, at z5 they will look empty if they are empty. My recommendation is to either make or download office furniture models and cubicles in addition to setting up normal walls throughout the building. After you have these models all you need to do is make a 3-4 layouts of tightly packed furniture and randomly select roughly 30% to delete. With the remaining furniture you have have randomized bitmaps and/or rotate all the furniture on individual floors to make sure no floor is a repeat of the last. Finally, even if there are 2-4 floors with nearly identical setups, this is okay as larger companies often rent out multiple floors and lay them out the same way.

I know that's probably a lot to take in, but basically, you just need more realistic blinds and a variety of interior floors and you'll be set.

Hi guys and thanks for your comments, and thanks Paul for your advices as always :)

About the blinds, do you think I need to remodel all of them for the night version, as the problem is them sizes ? And maybe add transparency through the blinds?

And for the furnitures, it will be very good to see them, but I'm afraid by the capacities of my PC :/

Here, no progress on the 605 Third Ave, but the real render at Z5:

When I do blinds I just used the fassadeblinds script and convert them to editable polys. Then I fine tune the heights. http://www.cgtechniques.com/goodies/blinds/ You would need to delete the blinds from both the day and night scenes, recreate them in one scene and merge the blinds into the other. That way the blinds will be in the same positions during the day and night.

As far as the interior goes, I would be happy to do that for you and export the model. I just did an export for someone else on here today and while it took 11-12 hours for their computer to finish , it took mine only 65 minutes. I would just need the day and night scenes from you.

I've the project to improve my computer soon, normally during the holidays, and it will be better to work on the Comcast and more others huge buildings who are need high reflective and details more importants;)

I've remodeled all the blinds and add the transparency for the textures, I hope you prefer them like that :)
