omg...stop teasing me! I want it in my city like now... :')

It looks awesome! I love the top nightlighting but maybe the ground floors nightlighting should be a little bit towned down.

sorry, what I meant was toned down*   :)

I agree with you about the glare. Maybe one remark concerning the spotlights shining up the wall: It always looks best when you can see not only the light cone itself, but also its source. ;)

Darknono just a question, since you did the Aon Center so perfectly, have you ever considered doing the old Twin Towers of the World Trade Center?

Somehow the Aon bat reminds me of the twins  :)

That wouldn't be a bad idea. :) Mine were more of a "mock up" sort of, honestly. Not much of a true to life recreation. It was more of a creative freedom project out of personal whim. It'd be nice for an accurate recreation. :golly: Besides, I never finished my own version of the complex either since my old computer gave up on me.

Besides, there's 3 versions of the Aon Center out there, I think 4 versions of the Sears Tower, 4 versions of One Chase Manhattan Plaza, etc. There's more BATs out there that have been done a few times by different people. Variety of choice.

Of course, that's entirely up to you as that's a rather ambitious project. But I'd rather you finish what you've got so far. ;)

Do you need to see a picture of the American International Building at night? Looking at your BAT again, it looks like you've got a close depiction of how it's lit up. However, the real life illumination seems much brighter and to me almost looks like the crown is just glowing itself and brighter than what you have. I don't know how well such a bright illumination would translate into the game though. :S

Yeah, I'd be careful with such brightness. On photographs, it is often the result of a very long exposure and not what you see IRL.

Wonderful work buddy. :D

I think the lighten on crown of the building is a little to bright.

Yay!

I look at your thread everyday for new updates! I'm so excited everytime! Cause you always choose to model the buildings that I like the most from Manhattan hihi!

It would be amazing if you would bat the Twin Towers but first finish the 40 Wall Street and Woolworth please! :) :) :)

The American International BAT is just brilliant. The top might be a little bright but if you look at night pictures of Lower Manhattan the top of the American International building always shines the most!

My compliments on how much youre skills have grown!

I say:

EXPORT :D

The crown of 40th Wall Street is looking much, much better but there's still work to be done with it, as well as other details surrounding the crown and on the upper floors. But it is an improvement. :) I feel it's current color scheme you have going is too cold though...

I agree. If we take a neutral grey (=equal values for Red / Green / Blue), then the overall hue should be shifted slightly towards a pinkish / peach-coloured shade to match the game's overall look. The wall textures you have on 40 Wall Street now look great in terms of detail, structure, and variation. However, they seem to have a strong greenish tint to them.

Looks great to me.. To be honest, I see the lights in the picture above, and it resembles the building's lightning, then again, as stated before, everyday is different, so there is no point intryin to figuring out whats the best lightning, some might like it on way, others, maybe not, the important thing is that you used one picture and you got something that resembles it pretty much, so go ahead, and make it happen =)

The crown is looking good, though TBH I'm still not sure if I can  see the spotlights where all the light is coming from. Still, it's a definite improvement!

What doesn't convince me so much is the light in the windows. IMO, it's far too intense. In the brightest parts, it looks like an atomic bomb just exploded on the inside. :P But seriously, toning it down a little (both in brightness and in glare) would improve the overall impression, as would a slight shift towards a warmer, more yellowish hue (see the photo posted by Vlasky).

Yeah, several things who need to be fixed before an export of the night view  :)
Today, I've done an export of the day render, and it's successful :O:) . And compared the two version, I don't need to ask you, what's your favorite ... ;)

And look the flags, it's working perfectly as props wowo!! :D
