Difficult to say. I am not someone who makes lists of 'best' and 'worst'. But my own country, Belgium, is pretty okay :D

What's the worst holiday you ever had? (And: why?)

I got stuck on a broken down train in Philly on St Patrick's Day.  At least I could see the Art Museum, an architectural feat.

Name one thing better than bubble wrap.

Money (to buy more bubble wrap, of course)

Answer me these questions three!

  1. What... is your name?
  2. What... is your quest?
  3. What... is your favorite color?

(I'm serious. Answer them.)

1. My name is Maarten <surname here>

2. To make SimCity 4 a more realistic game

3. It used to be red, but now I'm more in favour of blue

What... is the average flying velocity of an unloaded swallow?

Hehe, that's a very good question. Swallows usually forage at around 30–40 km/h, but they can also reach speeds of between 50–65 km/h when traveling. Because of this, their exact airspeed velocity when unloaded is still debatable.

What's your favorite TV series ever?

My home country?  Reece's Peanut Butter Cups.  God bless America.  My current country of residence?  Either takoyaki, curry (S&B Golden Curry), or manju.

What's the best part of living in the town in which you currently reside?  Worst part?  Why?

Best: Center City, Manayunk, Bala Cynwood.  Worst: Fairhill, Hunting Park, West Kensington.

Can you pronounce "Manayunk"

Yakima, WA to Madison, WI (over 2 days) = 1,846 miles (2970km) ... in European terms, that is longer than Paris to Moscow :)

DOH!  You beat me Maarten  :)

Ok - I'll answer that too - 18 years.

Very closed off. Authorized personnel only!

Tallest building you've seen?

Probably, but I don't know if I would be correct.

Man uh yUnck.

Best: Center City, Manayunk, Bala Cynwood.  Worst: Fairhill, Hunting Park, West Kensington.

Can you pronounce "Manayunk"

forgot to say why. Best: Center City as it's home to the museums and historic sites, Manayunk because of fine restuarants and good location, Bala Cynwood for the same reason. The worst 3 are for the same 3 reasons (they're next to each other) drugs, crime, poverty. Tis a problem of every old city.

There's so many hideous ones I don't even know where to start... but most of the hideous ones are postwar and cheap and ugly looking, even if they aren't cheap. The "International Style", IMHO, has no redeeming features.

So, what are the 5 coolest buildings you have seen in person?

Independence Hall. It's where the Declaration of Independence was written and America declared independent.

Will I post before Schulmantor?

Yes. I watch ESPN (mostly basketball or baseball, seasonally of course, with SportsCenter every morning). I also watch Disney Channel & Cartoon Network.

Do you have subscriptions to any magazines?

I once had a girlfriend get me two oversized t-shirts.  It seemed like a rather thoughtless gift when we were together, like she wasn't sure what to get me and ended up in the sale section of a store at the mall.  Oh well.

What is the best present you have ever received for Christmas?
