Love your airports guys! :bunny: :bunny:

I was testing this small airport that is already made in my city. In which looks nice near the farms and rural areas.

After lurking around here for several years on and off, thought I would post one of my airports. THe surrounding areas are yet to be completed but you will get the general idea. I realize the pic may be a little small for much detail, but if your interested I can post some closer images.

TMIP2 Is Coming!!

This picture shows a number of the features that will be in it:

-Dark roads

-Diagonal vehicle boundaries

-Terminal letters

-Arrows

-Gate numbers

--(those last 3 are separate so can be used in whatever combination)

-Diagonal terminal buildings placed on the darker texture to blend in

-Many props lotted on roads and/or ramps, baggage carts, catering trucks, stair trucks, etc (all those shown in the picture will be included)

(MMLs will come with initial release)

If you want to make suggestions on what else should be included, drop by the development thread @ SC4D.

OMG!!! It's not a long time ago when I ask on a Simtropolis forum for some rural airfield tips because I'm working on a tropical island with an airfield serving the incoming and leaving tourists. Your airfield is simply brilliant! The greatest SC4 rural airfield I've ever seen, master! Can you share it or give me some tips?

That's amazing work on the terminals, I'd definitely like to see closer pictures. Is it just adjusting the prop height?

Thank you fafalone! Actually I discovered by accident that the terminal pieces can be placed on a slope, so I played around and just made "steps" and went from there. The corners can be a bit interesting since the pieces were never designed to be placed on a slope but with some time and trial and error alot could be possible using this method.

Ah, well before your reply I went about doing it by adjusting prop heights. The result is about the same:

I'm creating a complete set; every piece on level 2 and level 3. So far I've done all the S3 concourse pieces. You'll be of course credited for coming up with the idea when I release it :)

Looks great.. looks like what I did for mine, although I didn't go as elaborate as you, I only did mutli story rounds, diamonds, traffic control towers and ofcourse the over avenue concourses.

If you release these, I'd definitely download to add to my collection.
