Thanks very much guys (I never left just a lot of changes in life).

Anyway here is how the models look in game. I am working in one more and then I will release them as a pack.

Again if someone can help me with the rectoria tower I will greatly appreciate it, many thanks!

    Nice set there!

I'd like to see them with LBT, Heblem and other Latin/Spanish/Mediterranean BATs to see how they would fit in someone's CJ...

Look what you've done. You made such a fantastic work that you can build up a whole district without using any Maxis buildings.

Yess... but anything repititive, even if it was the best of the best, can be annoying sometimes.

zahrul3 if you don't like repetition well then you should forget about SimCity...or maybe I should model a few thousand buildings to avoid repetition, at the moment I do this just as a hobby; however, if you are willing to pay me more than 85000dlls per annum then I will consider start BATing full time...

zahrul3 I hope you understand that the reasons while I BAT are:

1)enjoy modelling the things I want to model

2)enjoy having them in the game

3)share them with however may also enjoy them and appreciate them

I am not modeling my BATs with a mission other that do something I like, your keep suggesting I should model things to fit the rest of the LBT BATs well I really like that collection of BATs actually when I play the game that is basically all I use. Unfotnuantely LBT BATs were done years ago and now the tools allow us to do stuff that looks way better, furthermore most of the LBT models are over scaled, so should I also overscale my bats then? Debussyman already suggested to use scanline to render the models so they will blend better and this is something I will do if I got the time.

    Amen to that!

Still love the little store with the arcade machine poking out the door. Love all these wonderful buildings, remind me of my travels through Mexico and Latin America.

    Hey Harishna long time no post :}

I actually would love to see that but i'm afraid my pockets are not deep enough :P

Now down to business, are you planning on still doing the Research School of Earth Science? I'm creating an urban university and along with the UNAM stuff that would be great. Is the Vips restaurant going to released with the w2w bats?

And last but not least im really exited for all those models so I can start on my latin district. Good work

If I found the time sure I am not longer in the Research School of Earth Science in Canberra Australia, now I am at the School of Earth Environment at the Universtity of Western Australia, the building is really has a old look which makes a really nice building, however the Physics building next with it's massive brutalisc look has catch up my attention, I just have to find the time ;)

I finally fixed the problem with the rectoria tower, I took me like 20 exports and a lot of tweaking (this was my first 3ds-max model), inlcuding removing a missing pug-in, re-model some elements that I had model using the boolean operation, made the base a bit smaller, re-fixed the lods and tweaked the nightlights a bit. So now it is into the STEX so pease let men know if you find any issues Enjoy!

It was a surprise to see this building ready and up. A nice surprise. :)

I was going to say how when I first installed it, I couldn't find it in the Education menu for some reason. But I fixed it by redownloading it and over writing a the previous file...I think that did it. Or it could be human error and I didn't see it between the numerous buildings all ready in that menu for me. :P

    Great job!

Many thanks for your comments, especially thanks to nick13 for pointing me out that the maxis version was included twice I have now updated the file to include the darkversion. So please download the file again if you use darknite...maybe I rushed too much to upload the file, it just that I made like 20 failed attemps to export the model so that when I finally got it right I wanted to upload it as soon as possible and never see it again :)

    My apologies.

So here is the third model from my UNAM series, I think I will try to make one or two more to have a small campus at least.

Give me your thoughts on this one as I am planning to export this this week, however I want to be sure is right as it takes forever to export, even in my new computer takes like 15 hrs..

I noticed and already fixed the light leaking problem at the bottom right and added some more "furniture"

New Bat: Excellent work, I really like the shape :thumb:

UNAM series bat: Beautifull! I would however IMHO change 2 small points: I would add some noise for the water surface in order degrease slightly the sharpness of the shadow on the water, and for the nite view add some light in the water! :thumb:

You just reach the finetuning stage, the most difficult ;)

Thanks Amthaak, I actually had lights in the water however as the scene is really heavy I decided to remove them, however it might be a good idea to add them back. I will indeed add some more noise to the water even that I think that in a pool so small water shouldn't show much movement it would probably would look better in game.

Some more progress, beside some missing roof junk I think finished the first building si I started with the second. By the way this corner is the opposite from "El museo del estanquillo" or "Joyeria La Esmeralda" a BAT released by Debussyman many years ago...Once I finish this one I will start releasing the rest of my finished models...

You've got a lot of really great stuff here. I checked out your latest upload and I wanted to stop by your BAT thread to see your upcoming releases, and I'm impressed and looking forward to seeing them on the STEX. Those W2W BATs look so amazing! They're colorful, detailed, beautiful, and they have excellent textures. Great job! :)

I know nothing of BATting, but those are my two cents...

MamaLuigi, many thanks for your kind words, I am glad you appreciate my models.

Regarding the W2Ws I have decided to release the ones that are ready before I finish the rest as I might just continue to add more and more (I already started one more this week).

So I started modding using SC4 PIM

Now, in real life these buildings are a mixture of residential and commercial so I was planning to release them as CS$$ or CS$ what do you guys think?

Also what growth stage would be appropiate for these models and should I include a CAM stage?

So here comes my final newbie question, as you might have noticed I don't know much or anything about modding, so what would be the advantage of adding or assigning to a family.
