I agree totally with you Ilikehotdogsalot. And the last picture looks like a giant Jesus Rave .Somehow Rio reminds me of Hong Kong. Because near the coast it has Dense district and because of the near mountains B) .Off course Rio has only 1/10 of the class Hong Kong has

Recently I went to Florida to visit with family there.  During my visit my family stopped off in Tallahassee, which is the capital of Florida.  I took several photos there.  Below is a shot of Adams Street in downtown Tallahassee:

Below is the Florida State Capitol, a 22-story skyscraper tower with wings housing the state government's legislative branches.  The tower has an observation deck on the top floor.

Below is the Old Florida Capitol, which stands before the present capitol.  The Old Capitol was built in 1845 and has been restored to its 1902 appearance.

Below is a view of Tallahassee from the observation deck of the state capitol.  The view is looking north, with downtown in the foreground.

Adelaide, South Australia - I was born in the northern suburbs and lived there till I was 5.

Sydney, New South Wales - I lived in the Sutherland Shire for about five years. One of the places I have been to the most.

Rotterdam, The Netherlands

Rotterdam is maybe not such a well-known city to many of you. It is a city in The Netherlands in the province of South-Holland. It used to be the biggest port in the world. Nowadays it's the 3rd biggest and still 'the' port of Europe. The Rotterdam area contains about 2 million inhabitants.

As I can see is everyone trying to post very bright pictures, which is very good. I want to do it different though, because Rotterdam isn't a metropolis actually. It's more of an ugly port. So, in may 2009 there was a big storm here with lots of thunder. This maybe brighten this city up a bit. I hope you like it. Enjoy!
