So far I haven't used it very extensively, but one impression I had is that the bigger groups of trees and shrubs are arranged rather orthogonally - one bush in each corner of a tile, so to speak. It might be a great effect if there could be a more varied orientation. If this post isn't clear, I can take a screenshot to show what I mean. 1.gif And thank you again for creating this. It's the first god-mode flora mod I really enjoy.

Can you point me out which brush exactly is the problem? i think I know one which has a form like a square, but not sure if is that one you mean... if is that one i can replace it for a better effect...

    thanks for notify!

looks very good. You have made a marked progress with you last few models!

The only thing I would suggest, if you would still find it in yourself to do some work on this one is to

    a) take another look at the night window distribution and overall amount. At the moment it is a bit random and lacking... May be you could increase the minimum length of lit up section to say 5-7 windows. After all how wide is 1 window on this building 1.5 or so meters? so 2 windows make of an excessively small office. Also think of the time of the "night" you are making. In reality light is on all day long in offices like that, at least in bigger open floor spaces that would represent majority of floor space in a building like this. So logically speaking with the coming of darkness light should become noticeable (it is simply obscured in daytime by a power of sun). Given that not units may be occupied still there should be more of it and in larger, more connected blocks.

    b) on the other hand the floor or two right under the roof probably should be left unlit. There would usually be a tech floor.

    c) window frames of your shopping windows (ground level) are all to bright and oddly light,in fact they appear be self-illuminated

    d) for flood lighting(at ground level) use area lights to ensure very soft or almost non existent shadows.

    e) make aircraft warning lights brighter and bigger, now they are hardly noticeable.

    Do I see tiling!?!

The plaza sort of area looks like it has a tiling texture surface texture. You may have fixed it; I dunno. Multiplying the UVW by about three would fix it.

It doesn't ruin the rest of the model though, good work going on here!

Phew, it's been a while. Remember that I wanted to provide some feedback on your flora mod? Well, here it is - on this picture I marked what I meant when I wrote that some of the flora brushes look a bit squarish:

    675e2eb18511e062835c559712f90573.jpg

I also noticed that the mod can be difficult to use on steeper slopes because some of the brushes extend rather far horizontally, but don't seem to adapt very much to the terrain. However, I don't know if (and how) anything can be done about this, I'm just mentioning it.

I think the game of SC4 and the STEX, too, both lack properly sized suburban malls, so this is exciting! I can't wait for it to be released. (jaWood needs at least a little competition!2.gif)

Regarding the gas stations, the menu icons seem to be missing. All I see is the spaces where the icons should be, the tooltip text which shows the name, but no icon.

    Anyone?

Is Heblem even still around? I hope he didn't bite off more than he could chew with all of the proposed B.A.T.S. The gas stations were a wonderful and much needed BAT. I hope the indoor mall, and the outlet mall get completed soon. From the pictures he posted, they looked at least 80-85% complete. Take your time Heblem, there's no need to rush. (good work takes time!) I understand about things you need to do in RL. 4.gif

The gas stations are great except the menu which is invisible - just an orange strip where you can see names of gas stations and their price. I don't have any problems with other lots and their menus so it is an evident bug. Maybe a consultation with somebody could help to fix the glitch making this great project better.

WOW Heblem! That is amazing! I can't wait to see some preview renders.

Good to see you back in action. :)

Edit: For some reason that mall looks REALLY familiar. Something about that entrance facade. That store-in-progress on the end there doesn't happen to be a Sears, does it?

So nice, you always have an ace up your sleeve! may I suggest tweaking the roof texture I think right now looks like made out of concrete and maybe trying to break the monotony of the roof a little bit maybe the storage area has a bigger HAVC unit or something like that but I am not that sure maybe real ones look like yours... other than that look really nice! Para cuando te animas a hacer más BATs latinos? (ahi va la burra al trigo)
