How dumb is it that we have bye weeks already? I can't think of any significant injuries to the Atlanta Falcons that a week off will help out, and the same goes for Carolina. All the teams getting their byes in week 11 or 12 will have a huge advantage over these unlucky teams getting their rest now when they are still relatively fresh.

This weeks picks look a lot easier than last weeks. Only a couple that are really up for debate.

Tampa Bay over Washington [freeman's first start?]

New Orleans over the New York Rats.

Yes I agree, King Kong is a heartthrob, i don't get why everybody thinks he's such a bruce. Related story: When i went to the empire state building, there was a woman in the gift shop who looked like King Kong. I giggled slightly.

Also today I am a 50 point fantasy football underdog thanks to bye weeks. If my quintuple sleeper Cadillac Williams  has a big game though....

denver kept trying to give us this game so many penaltys and missed oper receivers did us in.

my fantasy team rolled today, played Eli ,steve smith,and the Chicago D,+ Forte finaly lived up to #1 pick status

Jason Campbell was awful in the first half.   I'd like to see a replay of his pass hitting the referee on the head.  But they managed to pull it together in the second half.   Beating a winless team by 3, as sad as that sounds, is an improvement over losing to a team that hadn't won a game in years.

It was a great day, weather-wise.  low 70s, no clouds, and a light breeze.  and I managed to get sunburned.   not severely; just slight singeing .
