Weird thing is that he leaves on Wednesday 17th...  via Los Catangeles, and arrives on Friday 19th...  even though the journey from L*c*A*t* to SCH-AKL only takes 12 hours.

*Thursday June 18th will simply be assimilated from existence when he crosses the international cat/dog line from feline into canine territory.

Not sure about the 0530 pick up at the port though...  I will seriously need a McDonalds Big Breakfast to make it worth getting up that early...   apparently that was the only time the ship could dock because of the tides.

LOL@ ABCVS! The International Cat/Dog line is a booger for sure. Just think..He is going all the way to the ends of the earth and the bottom of it besides! But crossing the International Cat/Dog line blows my doors off! Wish I could. The Supreme Wirdle has some gold from all that Buss Castle chocolate it seems in order to finace this expedition. Just getting to Los Catangeles from Schulmania will be a long trip in itself. Make Schulmanator pay for the Big Breakfast!!! It's the least he can do and tell him not to forget a gift for the Ambassador!

Maybe he is stopping over at Galaenther Catland to the north of Schulmauckland for a quick break.

    Schulmania State Visit Details

    17-26 June 2009

Schulmania to Schulmauckland... A Tale of Two Kitties

The Schulmanator is overjoyed to have been selected to be the Supreme Wirdle's personal representative on Schulmania's first state visit since before the colonization of Devonshire. He is intrigued by the various and sundry exotic florae and faunae which may present itself upon arrival in Schulmauckland. Schulmania does not have tree ferns; it just has plain ol' trees: witness this view from the Supreme Wirdle's very own porch.

    qWirtyplaceWoods.jpg

She wonders how climbable tree ferns are... the Schulmanator will enquire upon arrival

Dignitaries at every level of government are eager for the visit to begin. Even St. Francis, the ancient scion of the ruling dynasty, released a statement from Temple Terrace indicating his enthusiasm for the expedition.

    qStFrancisPic1.jpg

This is the first picture of St. Francis to be seen in Schulmania; only a very few were ever made of him

The agenda for the state visit is being finalized. There will be several official meetings as well as informal gatherings and a ceremonial exchange of canned meat products. Bureau of Feline Affairs Governor-General H. J. "Hoppy" Franciflora is expected to ship a case of his private reserve of Beef 'n Liver Fancy Feast as a gift. He is reportedly unconcerned that Booster may not consume Fancy Feast from the can, as is the Schulminion custom. He says "It's also great on crackers." The Governor-General is looking forward to the centerpiece of the visit - the International Simtropolis Gossip Roundup and Coffee Klatsch.

    qhoppyBowl2.jpg

The ISGR&CK is the centerpiece of the state visit, not the Governor-General!

As preparations begin for the long voyage, it is important to remember that the seasons are reversed in Schulmauckland. So, it is likely that the delegation will be greeted by cold weather.

    qSnowWirdle.jpg

Perhaps a Snow Wirdle will await the Schulmanator upon arrival?

In case you are wondering what may await the Schulmania delegation... a Bureau of Feline Affairs surveillance craft has captured these images of the environs of the conference.

You know you have arrived in Schulmauckland when you pass by the Tail Chaser Circle

Nelson Manor stands out in the posh neighborhood of Macchiato.

Suburban Schulmauckland... the neighborhood of One Booster Hill

A tall observation tower allows for panoramic vistas as well as an excellent place to watch birds.

    trx1.jpg

The Coffee Klatsch will be held here... where else would you expect a Simtropolis Gossip Roundup to occur?!

    park1.jpg

No doubt there will be some visitation of natural areas. The park outside of Boosterotorua is always a favorite stop.

With such an exciting trip, the delegation had better remember to bring along some of the local money to spend in the shops for souvenirs...

Yup..   Archduke B.B. Bower and his delegation will get very good value for their Schulmonetas when they convert them to Bones.

    quote>

The key is, of course, to determine if one can get excellent deals with foreign bones whilst in Schulauckland... for instance, how many kibble does a can of Fancy Feast cost? How about a can of tuna? What about one of those cool novelty shirts? You know the kind... with funny captions like "My parent went to Schulmauckland and all I got was this lousy t shirt" and such?

Nice variety in the cities! I'm really digging the pic with the CN tower there. (Not that I'm biased. Nope, not me. 3.gif)  Though...  Those are abcvs's cities, aren't they?  Cheater.  3.gif

Seems the llamas like the tourist trap. Is it the hot dogs?

Korot The Dutch index is now the #2 most viewed translated page and other Dutch pages are not yet in the top 25 but are inching closer.

Hester I am sure your comment has set tails to wagging.

    edmonton_stinks Ya know, that's a distinct possibility!

Archean Thanks! I am glad you liked the non-Maxis elements of the town. I was trying to get a Latin look to the area, as per the request of Governor Ray Anarchy. The canine ambassador is a male, BTW.

    Abcvs He's been posterized!

Jacqulina Thanks! I was trying to capture the Latin feel in this one.

Hester That's a lot of homes... hope you have a good maid!

Hester Well, there have been state visits TO Schulmania (witness the FIFA/Coronation Accord [link in the www.schulmania.info sitemap]) but none have been FROM Schulmania since the colonization of Devonshire some years ago.

Victor Valdes Thanks! I hope you like the next updates as well.

Hester None... I am not aerodynamic.

PhatHead lol... wanna bust a move now!

Leech10 Thanks! We may have a special update or two live from Schulmauckland... will hafta see on that though. No promises... depends on solar flares and stellar occultations and so forth...

Abcvs WOT??!! They don't have Bojangle's biscuits in Schulauckland?! Oh, the humanity!

Hester The Ambassador is currently unregistered at the local canine boutique. But, I intercepted his xmas wish list... " bones... meat... scratches behind the ears" I think I can take care of those.

SWAT-MEDIC Thanks! And this one is based on a true story!

    TmiguelT LOL! That it is!

Leech10 I think trading it in for 2 June 27ths is a fair deal... kind of like the pro sports drafts... I trade one of these for two of them kinda thing.

Abcvs TSW's official carriage is designated "The Wirtmobile". She is not fond of carriage travel, though.

Ashleybynes Thanks! And, welcome to Schulmania! Francis is Hoppy's father. There are very few pix of him around, so I was glad to have found this one. And, welcome to Schulmania. Please do come back again and check the website at www.schulmania.info for more stuff about our lovely nation.

Hester But, in Schulmania, the Snow Wirdle would not be permanent... not that much snow.

Leech10 Craig has calculated that for us. But, some canines have been known to gnaw away their life savings... partial bones no longer carry full value.

Hester Planning on international currency speculation?

Leech10 Of course, the rate fluctuates daily. The current rate is 1.6 bones to the schulmoneta.

Abcvs Actually, the schulmoneta is defined as 8.1 grams of 90% pure gold. But, of course, gold foil wrapped chocolates will often suffice in daily commerce as well.

    Hester Indeedily doodily.

Abcvs I wonder what he should buy... how much are those t shirts?

    Abcvs Tempting...

Zelgadis Thanks! Actually, those pix are from Monkey Island with a few Schulmania special update ones thrown in. The llamafest came from the Trixie update. I think the llamas showed up for Llamapalooza '09.

TmiguelT Hmmm... perhaps there IS a market for those shirts after all!

Leech10 They are not. But, I will have a Teflon wardrobe to repel unwanted spittle.

Evillions Thanks! I am glad you like them. I have gold, silver and copper templates to make the coins with. That is why they all look so similar in style.

As long as the delegation brings the Schulmanian Official Archives (Region and Plugin Folder) on a USB stick then a live update from Schulmauckland is entirely possible.

Anyway, I just want to see Schulmania 'live' in game...   9.gif

SWAT-MEDIC Thanks! And this one is based on a true story!quote>

All true, and really RL happening!

Abcvs TSW's official carriage is designated "The Wirtmobile". She is not fond of carriage travel, though.quote>

How about one of those brown carboard boxes with holes in the side?

Abcvs I wonder what he should buy... how much are those t shirts?quote>

    Dunno maybe 20 Bones.

TmiguelT Hmmm... perhaps there IS a market for those shirts after all!quote>

Take a few back and hock them off on Ebay...  or here in Schulmania.

I am very pleased to hear the Admiral is feeling better.   That must have been a concern.

*Please be sure to indicate your accomodation preference for Monday 22, in the Schulmauckland thread...  Ambassador Wizard Prince Schonheit appreciates your input!

Ack! Partial bones! Those have to cause problems in commerce... Especially if the cashier gets hungry.
