A few pieces of news from the Feline News Network:

1. The Coin of the Year Winner is Temple Terrace. A large golden trophy will be on its way there to celebrate the occasion. Thanks to all who participated in the voting.

2. To Jacky and anyone else who has been having trouble with posting in the new CJ section: I have found success by using the latest version of Firefox instead of MSIE. Give FF a go and see if it does better for you, as it has for me.

3. In the same vein, now that I can post in the new CJ section, I will look to establish a new thread there. At first, it will be more or less a "storefront" in the new section, until this thread has reached a natural conclusion point. I will work on refining the post count methodology to take into account the new CJ configuration over in the other section.

4. So, what do you think of the ducks? If you have thoughts on the captions or suggestions for better captions, lemme know!

New Agriculture Commissioner Named

BELVA DEAR, WIRDLEONIA (Feline News Network) Princess Katherine traveled from Robinia to Belva Dear to announce the Supreme Wirdle’s decision for a replacement for departed Agriculture Commissioner Peter Rabbit. An exhaustive and high-profile  nationwide search led to seven candidates being summoned to Wirtyplace to be interviewed by the Supreme Wirdle and Bureau of Feline Affairs council members. Despite intensive lobbying by Count Chocula and the Jolly Green Giant, both did not make the final interview cut. Princess Katherine traveled to Belva Dear to announce the new selection at his hometown. The Supreme Wirdle has selected Zelgadis Junior to be the new Agriculture Commissioner. In her proclamation, she cited his advocacy for farming and his specialized knowledge of leafy greens. She also applauded his efforts to remain fully engaged in the outdoors and tireless campaigning for bountiful crops. She feels that Zelgadis Junior is the best selection for the position and she looks forward to his eagerness and energy helping Schulmania grow. In congratulating Zelgadis Junior on his new post, Princess Katherine urged him to “hop to it” and to enjoy his new position.

Wondering how Schulmania is doing? Check here and satisfy your desire to know all, see all and tell more! Some interesting stats for you: as of June 1, Schulmania Volume 1 gained its 50,000th view. And, Volume 2 is now neck-and-neck with Monkey Island in views. Poor ol' Star Trek Outpost Beta 6 is definitely not using its warp drive. As for the website, there has been some shakeup in the top 25 pages, but no new entries. One new entry in the top PDFs. As for translation pages, the Dutch index by Korot is now the #2 translated page. And, the new Dutch pages are gaining in popularity. New Muphridish translations are under development now. When released, you will want to see them. And, there will be some other goodies as well, including the Schulmania National Anthem and a new sitemap to aid in navigation.
