Graphics - Great, overall it has a realistic look to it. I think it can look both "gritty" and clean, and with possible weather effects... well the graphics are great simply.

Lots/Buildings/Design - I see no wall2wall, I hope you make that possible. Road textures may look a little bleak, i hope they will be moddable so that we can create versions for everyones liking (asphalt, concrete etc)

Buildings look amazing, amazing i tell you! They render very well.

The interface is not visible, may i stress again that you make buildings searchable, please... would save so much time 2.gif Also a customizable interface, would also be beneficial, such as choosing how many columns you want to browse content with. Further, the ability to "paint" (the limits of an area) or otherwise speed up the flora and fauna placement. It would be great if the flora was categorised into arbtirary catgories we could create, such as "desert, savannah, temperate, rainforest, alpine", and what not, we could assign custom flora we download/create to these categories, and choose to generate an area based on one category, like savannah, and it would automaticly randomize an area with the flora which belongs to that category. Be it a swamp area or desert with cactuses.

Very good concepts though 4.gif . Its definitely on a promising track!

The scale of things looks enormous, which is very intriguing. I hope its moddable to the maximum, in all three dimensions ^_^ .

The landscapes look amazing, to! The factor which can be improved further, i believe is vegetation in this regard.

P.S. I see no parks or recreation areas, i hope we can setup natural parks and reserves (eco tourism), make city parks, plazas etc.

*Drowns in drool*

It's breathtaking!

I'm breathless!

I need to breathe! *GASP*

Holy crap, you guys are good... I gotta admit, you're really giving Maxis & EA a run for their money. They're probably sweating like pigs looking at this trailer. The buildings and graphics are flawless IMO (why does everyone keep complaining about "brown" textures? It doesn't seem any more brown to me than in real life...), and I was pleasantly surprised at the rendering speed - no glitchy or jumping camera can only be a huge plus for the game.

This is probably the first time ever I've ever wanted to buy a game right then and there without it even being complete...! Keep it up guys!

I’m a guy who just can’t guy right.

Well, one trailer can't tell everything. However, I am cautiously optimistic about this game.

The graphics look very good, but it's the gameplay I have questions about.

Hopefully we can find out more about that in subsequent trailers.

Oh God, this is so mind meltingly awesome.

This is defenatly on my list of games I'm looking forwards to! Only thing I would say it needs is Wall to wall buildings, such as brownstones or cheap apartments and so on...

The framerate and texture quality looks great too, I just hope my computer can handle it!

It has some way to go still.

Yes seawalls, good point godzillaman, maybe even a canal-creation function 4.gif.

hm... Looks pretty good (anyone see that movie where they make that curved highway?), but apparently all development (and streets, unfortunately) is still aligned to a grid. Any thoughts on this?

Dont be too optimistic people. After SCS, i dont think i can ever trust a gaming company again. As Goldifsh4209 pointed out, the streets seem to be set on a grid. The buildings look like theyre all ploppable. Its starting to look more and more like the next gen city building game we were waiting for. As for the ploppable buildings, i dont mind that. As long as they dont have what SCS had. What was it again? Creative Points? This game looks really good, and i expect it will be but im just being precautios.

The game looks good.

Graphics look nice and realistic and I see a good mix of worldwide landmarks. Effects such as the breeze blowing through the tree is also nice.

Though, I'm also wondering about a grid. Can we be build without the grid?

Looking forward to the game.

Yes graphics engine, rendering, models etc look very neat. Im interested in the software- (modding) and user interface, and game engine. But again its definitely on a promising track. This could be a replacement for years to come.

The picture says yes!4.gif I guess there's just massive grid because it's like a mini NYC styled city...

This game looks great visually, but I hope it's not a strain on my laptop, and I hope that it lets you get involved with your city like you could in SimCity titles. I know I'm probably going to get it.

dasilva:

You definently need to post some reccomended specs as I know quite a few people (myself included) that haven't moved on from their 2003-2005 SC4 PC and are waiting for a decent simcity sequel to upgrade.

Just about the RAM requirements and graphics card reccomendations

My opinion, it looks like at least a 256MB card w/ 2GB ram. at least dual core as well. Looks amazing though!

Looks great.

Couple of points.

Didn't see any other type of transit other than standard road and side street.(I'm sure it will come, still)

Still yearning for approaches/driveway connections to the street. I just hate that look of no connection. Traffic doesn't even need to flow or be functional from it, just from an aesthetic point of view I'd want it.

Love the wave of the trees.

The actual game has a sense of realism. Love the view in the distance.

Would like to see a little more "Color" in the game. More striking would be the word.

The more detail on the the street level the better. Right now looks a little bland. Stuff such as weeds,trash,cracks,signage,flora...etc.

The textures on the roads could be better, or at least I'd like to see asphalt etc...
