Can you place buildings inside the gap between the tunnel entrances-exits? It would be awesome to have highways going through buildings. Something like this:

McDuell- you have just opened up a whole new area of Simcity 4. Outstanding work!

Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage

"If you try to please everybody, you often times end up pleasing nobody, especially yourself. When somebody offers to do a favor for free, like making a mod for SimCity 4, you shouldn't be overly critical of something generously given to you. In other words, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth." - Twilight Sparkle after playing SimCity

"Being a mayor or a content creator for SimCity 4 is a heavy responsibility, Patrick. Each city and each custom content is like a child, and must be treated as such." - SpongeBob Squarepants after playing SimCity

I would assume the photographer used some kind of panoramic lens setting in order to get the whole bridge onto the image.

A road & rail bridge connecting Warrentype with Bakerville. Nothing too impressive. On the Warrentype side of the bridge, there's a steep slope you need to climb in your vehicle just before the bridge.

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

@Compdude787  Everyone wants to get across that river, cars, trains, BTM, and foot/bike path, there is a different angle pic in my CJ entry East Peak

An old highway bridge & tunnel portal that I made many years ago which I think still looks good today

If there's one thing I miss about using maxis highways its the bridges, especially the Golden Gate :(

This is a small, purely decorational wooden pedestrian bridge I made myself with props from the Historic Harbor Plugin. I really need to say that this plugin comes in quite handy.

Is the bridge Transit Enabled?

No. This is a 1x1 lot with overhanging props that actually sits on the slope. I just made myself, long ago, some traffic blockers with various traffic textures (among them SAM 3) and placed them there to make the transition between the bridge and the dirt road look more plausible.

With the SC4Tool it would be possible to switch traffic from car to subway to 'bridge' the gap and make it functional. It wouldn't allow bus or freight traffic however, but you could always play that as weight allowance ;)

I know. But my traffic blocker's main purpose of existence is to block traffic, not to let it pass. Besides, in this situation, I have enough alternatives for traffic to get across the river, and I can also use subway stations to create a bypass for pedestrians.

@philforhockey51 Looks entirely interesting. By the way, in your previous post, I've seen some retaining walls around the railway overpass. Which plugin are you using for this one, self-made or available for download? If self-made (and relot), may I ask you for the texture instance or the link to the dependency?

@11241036  and @Yarahi  Actually I think those are the Paeng Textured Walls(or at least that is the way it is titled in my plugins folder.) I believe that they were part of a set of three from Paeng but I could not find them on the STEX, I think I may have downloaded them from SimPeg when it was around.

Thanks for looking into this. I couldn't find them as well; I'll probably have to search further or try to find other retaining wall textures.
