Man, I've missed a lot. Have you seen teemu's football stadium? He made Reliant Park (field, stadium, park, whatever) and is in the same thread as Toyota Center and Safeco. It's a bit bigger, and I think would be a better fit...unless you're trying not to have all three of his stadiums in one city...which is understandable.

The actual team editing (players and helmets) looks alright, but the stadium looks excellent! A very unique NFL stadium, but nonetheless, I think that would be an awesome venue for football games. Good region shot, too.

Buildings are nicely selectioned and well plopped (if you plop them) As I saw on your region view, you attempt to build large suburbs on the east side? If yes, don't forget to make a large parkway that'll connect I-40, I-19 and US-160...

This is great! Did you modify the football stadium, because if I recall that is actually a soccer stadium from the STEX, but I always use it as a football stadium, but not modified to look great like yours. AWESOME journal.

Giligone - Thank you, some of those buildings I have edited in the lot editor - and some I just added parking lots next to the buildings to make it look like they are connected.  Glad you like the region shot so far.  And I never said the guy that robbed the Phillips 66 store was drunk, he was just stupid!  haha   I guess you just had drinking on your mind!  lol  

PhilsCafe - LOL, no kidding.  They had to pull the plug on the extra curricular activities after the first year anyway, because it along with the learning impairment and the over drinking wasn't helping matters.  Glad you like the region shot, and I did!  lol  See ya later!

Mr. Beer - Hey, thank you!  As for the buildings, most are grown except for bixels stuff (because I couldn't wait) and some of the downtown skyscrapers.  Yes, I plan on building large suburbs on all sides, but that is a good idea with the parkway!  I will wait and incorporate that when the suburbs reach out that far!  Thanks again David!

Nice retail areas, they are really one of your many strong points. The balance of day/night shots is good, and of course, your lot editing continues to be fantastic. I really liked that freeway in the last pic! It's cool how you used the avenue underpass that was originally designed for a railroad one.

Being from a North American desert city myself (Las Vegas), I was immediately drawn to your CJ.  I've been a lurker so far, but I thought I'd change that...at least one time...

I really like the look of your city so far!  Especially your downtown...I love how it blends nicely from high-density towers to the smaller towers on the outer edge.   Also, your suburbs are awesome!  Just like a desert city to try and throw in some trees to make it look greener ...have they never heard of xeriscaping?

You seem to have a knack for portraying the time-of-day through photo editing.  I love how your night shots come out!  And your late afternoon pictures look better than the in-game time.

Anyways...maybe I won't take so long in commenting again.  I'll try, but...well, don't hold me to it !

My family and I go to Vegas every summer. We have a condo in Henderson. And from personal experience this looks really great in comparison. The sudden contrast of the buildings and green gardens to the harshness of the sandy desert!

Great update. That mall looks amazing with that particular setting and all. I like the amount of details. One gets the feeling of actually being there... and good to see that the city has many places to go at night... especially when I want to move into my top floor apartment for spring break, lol.

Very nice yet again. Reminds me totally of Arizona. I hope traffic isn't as bad in Copper Basin as it is in Phoenix. Also, personally I think I would rather live in Copper Basin than say Tucson. I lived in Tucson for 6 years and your CJ make me miss Arizona even more.
