Now I wish I could go back to phoenix. I was there in January. I hate living in Northern Utah... too much snow. Nice, I just can't wait for the southwestern sprawl your working on. Those houses are way southwestern, and so is the terrain. Maybe the only thing missing is that this city doesn't have the typical southwest grid system, but that's more up to you. I'm subscribing to this thread.

That is amazing. Probably the best airport I've yet seen in SC4. And the detail shots are spectacular as always. This CJ is like a drug, once you start, you just want more and more! haha Keep it up. 9.gif

I know this has been said plenty of times before, but this is probably one of the best if not the best CJ i've seen ever! Everything looks so extraordinaraly realistic - especially the mall areas with the restaraunts and downtown with the night districts. Or just an ordinary high way lined with business or apartments or hotels. Everything fits in so perfectly. Esspecially the airport. 5+ stars! Cant wait for more.

    Another update coming at cha!

waway625 - Thanks, and I agree - parking lots = realistic!  Thank you for commenting in here!

Pablo_SIMMANIAK - Thank you, and I was planning on building a fence around the airport, just haven't gotten around to it yet!

gabry85 - Thanks again as always - glad you like my airport and region, and thank you for putting me in your sig!

ky72x - Hey thanks, when I saw sparkythepenguin's new releases I knew they would be perfect for my mid-town areas.  They really are well done BAT's!  Thanks for commenting, and look forward to hearing from you again!

dabadon5 - Thanks, glad you think so!

jjune4991 - That's right!  Thanks again and I'm glad you like my region shots!

rusummer1 - Thanks, that building is on the stex - it is relatively new, so it should be on one of the more recent pages.

dfnva - Thank you, glad you are liking my airport!  Thanks for commenting again!

Almighty Nienaber - Thanks!  See you later!

jacqulina - Hey Jacky!  I'm doing well, very glad that you like my pictures - and thanks for always being so nice and commenting so much!

Jill Jacobs - Don't pretend like you don't like it, Jill - I'm just getting started!  2.gif

bbfan02 - Thanks again, glad you like my pictures!

asturianu - Thank you, I'm glad you feel it's getting better!  I wouldn't want it to become stale!  Glad you like my airport stuff!

SaltandVinegar - Hey!  I really hate snow too!  Luckily we don't get it too much where I live.  I did get 8 inches a few weeks ago, but it was melted and gone by the next day.  It will be sprawling out pretty far, I'm just trying to jump around to different sections so no one gets bored!  You will notice a more grid like pattern with the avenues farther out in the suburbs, though the actual neighborhood streets will be curved and winding!  Thanks!

Giligone - Thank you!  Always glad you like my pictures, but I need to talk to you about your drug problem - we may need to have an intervention!  Hehe

Floidiot92 - Hey, thanks - that means a lot!  I'm really glad you like my cj and think it's realistic!  Thanks for that rating, and welcome to simtropolis!

This update will showcase some developments at the newest bar and club district known simply as the West End...

Pic 17.1 - Daytime aerial overview from the West...

    17up1-1.jpg

Pic 17.2 - A close up of downtown with the West End district at the bottom of the pic...

    17up2-1.jpg

Pic 17.3 - Here is the area developed so far at night...

    17up3-1.jpg

Pic 17.4 -  Here you can see the Copper Basin Aquarium on a late Friday evening... Shark feeding time is at 08:00 hours, so the inmates arrive at ohhh...  7:30  hehehe...

    17up4-1.jpg

Pic 17.5 - This is the West End around 10:00PM. The building with the purple neon is the Bru House - one of Jill Jacob's favorite nightspots, and to the right side of the pic you will see a white building lit up which is ClubFX, where she likes to dance and get her freak on... da da da dadada...

Copper Basin is lively any time of the day, it appears. 3.gif

Excellent editing of the buildings, Chris! I like how you added those signs. Although those buildings weren't originally meant for clubs, the ones that you chose to use were just perfect. It shows that in SC, anything is possible. Well, most things, anyway. 3.gif

some more great pics, man! i like your downtown; very realistic, not a huge skyscraper forest like others build, but a more modest, but better-looking setup.

i like you logo for the final four! who do you have down to win? i'm kinda favoring Memphis myself... anyways, great work!

Maybe next time I should say it when I'm not serious... it's easy to misunderstand on message boards, lol.

I like the overview of the Basin... although I don't wanna know what's going on at that country club, lol. I like that kind of subtle humor. I also like the West End very much, great variety of buildings and an interesting nightlife. That's probably one of the more lively cities here on ST 2.gif.

Good news!  I've retrieved my cj from the depths of hell to show you this update!  3.gif

dfnva - Thanks, glad you liked the nightlife tour!

ky72x - Hey, thanks for noticing!  hehe  I think some of the coolest clubs are located in buildings that weren't originally meant to be clubs!  Thanks again for commenting!

Ntq$310 - Hey thanks!  You're on your own for tickets, sorry!  hehe

Mr. Beer - Thanks Mr. Beer!  I like to drink you, by the way!  3.gif

jjune4991 - Thanks!  Glad you like it!  Yeah, Brian Regan is one of my favorite comedians!  Thanks for commenting again!

Mike the Mayor - Thanks mate, glad you like my mix of buildings!

gabry85 - Yeah, the canal is one of the main features of the area - which is being expanded on and will show more of it this update and the next.  Glad you like my pics!

bbfan02 - Thanks again as always bbfan!

Mulefisk - Thank you Mulefisk, glad you like the new district!

suplado! - Thanks for commenting, glad you like my pictures and overview!

Dsrwhat316 - Glad you like my downtown, and my final four logo!  My bracket I made I have Kansas beating NC and UCLA beating Memphis, and then Kansas beating UCLA.  I'm in the 96th percentile on ESPN.com, but I'm still like in 112,000 place!  lol  Thanks again!

PhilsCafe - Hey that's okay!  Glad you like my overview, and  country club!  haha  Yeah, the West End is pretty lively!  Thanks again for commenting!

Beautiful eye to detail, I like it very much! Mhmm, you really got your inspiration from your hometown which I like very much. Looking very much forward to more (it's a shame that this is only my first post concerning your CJ; hope I am forgiven... 4.gif ).

Looks nice, I like the canals in the desert, an oasis of sorts. I also liked the condos. I've never been to the southwest but they look eclectic enough to belong there.
