Well this city does not exist anymore as it was a 'test' for my Los Angeles remake I'm working on but here are the only two pictures I took. I should also add I was very very losely based on the actual network of LA in otherwords, it's a mess.

Like LA it has a nice layer of somg the one thing this city copied right. OH and ignore anyy brown boxes I've missed a dep. here and there. 3.gif

One of my largest cities is the city of Horsham, located on the San Francisco. Much of my buildings are Maxis-like so not much diversity unfortunately 15.gif. However I'm still very proud of my city.

You click on the reply button and in the new window that should appear, you can see the icon which says insert/edit image, or the one to the right which says upload to ImageShack. Either one works, but make sure the image sizes are inside the range of 800X600 or smaller.

Wow, some amazing CBDs here. Great work, all.

@Daan300: Great European looking city! I especially like your diagonal W2W buildings. Fantastic work!

@colcholl: Please refer to this page for posting images. You also need an online image hosting service; I recommend using Google's Picasa Web. It's free. 2.gif

Here's my lame CBD:

Apparently, Sims like building tall structures ontop of hills and former lake beds. Yeah, the middle was a former lake which i filled up to give me more room.

Hi,

Thought I'd show my new citys CBD in its infancy. Reasonably new to SC4 and certainly have learned huge amounts from simtropolis. The 4 stations will hopefully deliver 200,000 sims into the district as my city develops.

Los Lowgwea: Noahtopia's second largest city. Population: 1,263,125.

Aerial View of Downtown Los Lowgwea. That main avenue there with the overpasses is the Lowgwea Expressway.

The city's Financial District. The United Bank Center dominates this district. Noah Airlines has a division here. It is the large blue tower in the foreground.

The city's commercial district. The Lowgwea Point, on the left, is the centerpiece of the CBD at 1,625 feet. It is the third  tallest building in the world. Also, the RHW system around the area is the Dominican Expressway.

The main urban residential area. The Lowgwea Expressway can be seen much better, and United Bank Stadium dominates the scene.

Please comment and say if you would like to see the rest of the region in a CJ. Thanks.

 'lo everyone.

I've been working slowly on this city or a CJ, which is just a revision of an old city, still have quite a bit left to do however...

So I suppose I'll just leave this here...

Don't mind the gaps, still have yet to fire up LE and replace the parking lots with proper ones. one day, though. xD

Soapy!

Wow, Plastic Manc, that's an ambitious plan you're working on.  I've tried to do things like that in the past but generally didn't have the patience to follow through with it.  I'd love to see that as it progresses!

Believe me, I've tried enough times to get a large CBD to work but think this one might be the one that takes off. I'll be happy to put some more pictures up as it develops. That picture was taken with only about 15k population but i'm now up just shy of 60k so it's much more populated.

Here's a shot of my larger city, San'tessana (pop. 220,000 or so).   This city was an attempt to keep with an early 20th century look, but the lure of sleek International highrise style has crept in.

Edit: Ok, Simtropolis is being finicky tonight. I said it was one shot because the interface wasn't showing the others, but I see they're here anyway.  So.  These are all the same location, just from three different angles.
