Very nice CBD! My only criticism is that there is a lot of repetition with the Maxis buildings. Other than that it looks great.

Thanks Evillions! These textures were made by Heblem and are part of the Fresnillo and Mock Town files, it's a very big archive, I don't think it is available anymore since it was on Megaupload, just ask Heblem. Otherwise I can try to send it to you

Here's an air pic of Lenin'sk, proudly made up without any cheating. However, some stuff was plopped of course, like the Fernsehturm (always loved the communist-taste of the DDR) and some few others. The whole peninsula became a business district and the core of the whole metropolis, Lenin'sk in fact now accounts for over 700'000 people. A strip of "talls" goes from the west coast of the peninsula (on the right) to eastwards, this part of the city which is the most commercial-like is called "Samotsvety".

@Skylerracer23: Neat looking downtown! However I think you should get a water mod (PEG makes some good ones) and tree the hills, unless you're going to develop them. The downtown itself looks neat, and really promising.

Honestly i am not sure about the mountain near by the downtown. It just looks wrong. Unless it's Hong Kong where the whole city is a downtown and hi-rise apartments, it just looks unrealistic to me. Usually downtowns are in the middle of the city or on the shoreline, surrounded by medium/lower density. It hardly could make any sense a downtown created near a mountain :|

I am using a water mod ROFLyoshi, it's a Nighttime water mod (that's why the water in Aki City is Blood red). anyway, I don't mind if the daytime water is the default maxis texture. I just like playing it and letting my cities grow(with help from a police, demand, and some other mods)
