One of the most interesting pieces of architecture I've seen in a while is the BBC's Television Centre located in White City; London! Television Centre, Bush House and Broadcasting House are buildings I'd love to put in my cities!

Also what does annoy me is having St Stephen's Tower (ie Big Ben) stands alone when I'd like to see it attached with the rest of the houses of Parliament.

This is a 1940s art deco building in Kansas City, Missouri, it has been a KC landmark scince

and i think it would be great in sc4! i think it would make a good addition to SC4 because we need more art deco buildings, they are beautiful and dominate skylines!

couple pics

I would like to see the Panorama Towers from Las Vegas made. Here is a link to a bit of the info. http://www.luxuryrealtygroup.com/panorama-towers.html

Also Italian Tuscan style homes with rock fascades.

And Art Deco Styled buildings from the early 1900s.

Perhaps also some new modern condos, but not too tall or high wealth.

Request:
Philadelphia Skyscrapers

22bo2.jpg

The US' most historically significant and 5th largest city has an awesome skyline, but it isn't well represented on STEX.  Maybe someone could create some of these buildings?

-One Liberty Place
-Two Liberty Place
-Mellon Bank Center
-Bell Atlantic Tower
-Commerce Square twins
-Blue Cross Tower
-Comcast Center (tallest between NY and Chicago)
-Cira Center
-Aramark Building
-City Hall (world's tallest mansonry building)
-PSFS Building (first North American "modern" skyscraper)
-30th Street station (3rd busiest US Amtrak station)

sorry I couldn't ge the pic up, but here is the link on wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_Tower

my second request is a more fictional version of the Freedom that would incorporate the old Twin Towers. At the ground/street level of the Freedom Tower, there are 2 holes in the ground where the Twin Towers once stood. My 2nd request is for the Twin Towers to be place in those 2 holes in the Freedom.

hey guys I hope this is enough for you

Wikipedia:

The Cathedral of St. John the Divine, officially the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine in the City and Diocese of New York, is the Cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of New York.

Located at 1047 Amsterdam Avenue in Manhattan's Morningside Heights, the cathedral, a tourist attraction, is the largest cathedral and second largest Christian church in the world, being surpassed only by Saint Peter's Basilica, Rome.

The cathedral, designed in 1888 and begun in 1892, has, in its history, undergone radical stylistic changes and the interruption of two major wars. It remains unfinished, with construction and restoration a continuing process.

Request:

well I have two requests:

One simple, one complex

Simple:

600pxdsotmsmallqd6.jpg

Id like to see a redress of a Madison Square Garden Lot for the recent Dark Side of the Moon concert. Pink Floyd, Roger Waters... here is a good poster of it

http://mitkadem.homestead.com/files/events/rogerwaters2006/roger.waters.dark.live.2006.poster.jpg

or you can just create your own poster using the Album Cover and creating text and stuff

http://www.gaudela.net/portugalprog/capas/The_Dark_Side_of_the_Moon-1a.jpg

Here are some Madison Square Garden's  to change the skin/texture  of...

just change the posters and all Madonna stuff- https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=16291

"fresh" one to change however you please - https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=16338

Second, and much more difficult request.

The U.S.S. Voyager from Star Trek, landed on a lot, as a ploppable landmark.

voyagersmallab2.jpg

Facts and Pictures:

Crew: 150 (Give it about 150 Co$$$ or High Tech Ind. jobs)

Size: 350 Meters long (1,148 feet long)

         15 decks (floors)

Great Pics from all Angles here - http://www.cloudster.com/Sets&Vehicles/STvoyager/STvoyagerTop.htm

Some pictures of what it looks like when landed

http://www.stguardian.to/fed/intrepid/intland01.jpg

If you going to take on either of them, please PM me and let me know. Thanks

Don't know if it's been requested yet but... (Upon reading the thread, hey, just a few posts up, gee, I'm stupid....But hey, here's links to pics of my favorite 3.)

I'd like to see these two beauties get put out.

Comcast Center; Almost complete, 975 foot glass tower that will be Philly's new tallest.

Since I don't have time to link you to 1000 renderings and under construction pictures, just check out this thread....

http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=120081

Loads of pics there... I'd say use the renderings in the beginning to develop a BAT, and then use the U/C pics towards the end to do the textures. 4.gif

And Murano Condominium is the other one. 475', beatuiful stunning condo's, if you ask me.

Same forum....

http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=95477

Much thanks to anybody who considers undertaking these projects. Philly skyscrapers would be popular on the STEX... just look at Liberty One, our former tallest, until Comcast Center came and beat it.

EDIT:  I'll toss in a third one.  Cira Centre.  437', Glass, very sweet looking building, especially at night.

Here's the link to it's emporis page.

In my city there is a small mountain with the biggest an-made star at the top, it-s 100 ft tall, and it lights up at night with red/white/blue neon lights.

Also there is a big 3star hotel downtown called Hotel Roanoke (in tudor style if that helps)

And there's a small hirise bank tower with a pedestrian bridge across several railroad tracks (that's how the city got started) connecting Wachovia Tower (Does not resemble the one in Philadelphia) with Hotel Roanoke.

It seems that I am the only one of 95k ppl in the Noke, or 22k ppl in Salem, or how many in Vinton, Roanoke County, or outlying towns that is registered at Simtropolis, and I think I need a new video card to run BAT.

Wikipedia has a few photos of those landmarks, just nobody calls it Noketown, it's The Noke. (under search term Roanoke)

You might wanna go to www.roanokeva.gov to see if they have any info about 3d views of them.

I might just be a fanboy and all but I'd really like to see a BAT of the Black Pearl from PotC.

I'm sure everyone knows what it looks like o.O

neways heres pics and info on the ship

http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/3116/blkprlit9.png

blkprlit9.pngactually i'm just a ***** and not sure if this was possible but it would probably be better if someone could make a lot that would spawn the black pearl, which would then sail around randomly in your city, just like how the seaport spawns cargo ships. thanks =)

Would anyone be able to make a French Dassault Mirage 2000 fighter jet? It would be much apreciated. If you go to google images and search 'dassaut mirage 2000', you shoud find a good selection of pics plus most books of modern aircraft should have it. If all else fails, you can get some technical knowledge here:

http://www.globalaircraft.org/planes/dassault_mirage_2000.pl

Also, if you can, (definately not a 'must-have') A Mirage F.1 would also be apreciated. You can get technical knowledge here:

http://www.globalaircraft.org/planes/dassault_mirage_f1.pl

I know this sounds like a lot of work, but I'm sure the community as a whole would be glad to have a more varied "Air Force."

If possible, leave it in an 'unfinished' paint scheme to facilitate for international people. (I'd do this all myself if it were not for the fact that to get gmax (as of 2005), you need to get the whole Autodesk setup which costs in excess of $3,000!) Thanks a lot for putting up with my nonsense. Good luck to whoever tries it and my condolences if it drives you mad 2.gif

Zaha Hadid--I want things by Zaha Hadid. Anyone?

If anyone is interested I will post more images. But here is a preview. She is very stingy about publishing architectural drawing, but I happen to have a few (although bad image quality)
