I wanted to share these two maps. The first one is my CJ city's downtown underground/lightrail network, the second shows my city's highway system (and planned ring road). Also shown is the city's rail networks.

Wow, those are some nice maps, everyone.  Benedict, yours really pops out with the black background and the colors . . . very nice. 

david1314, very nice as well . . . it looks like your city there has a lot of rivers through there. And yes, Shingure, I think that is a great map.  Nice and clean, shows where you're going. 

I finally figured out how to do this earlier this afternoon, so here is a road map from a city called Cuprum (which is the Latin name for the element copper).  There's still a few rough spots on it I know I need to clean up, and some more street names I need to add, but I figured I'd show it in-progress.

I had to redesign it after making a last minute choice to have a curvy coastline. Here you go. The two number stations at the bottom are still under jurisdiction. As in I may or mayu not build them and I may terminate the line at 14th Ave .

Sanantonio, you could add major bus stations and transit hubs where the bus lines connect to other mass-transit types.

Edit: Here is a transportation map I have been working on for my CJ. This is Downtown Letchworth, please let me know what you think!

@ sanantonio: i like your map...but i would connect more lines with your railstation... the light blue and the orange maybe... in most citys the main bus station is located near the main station
