Maybe, the architects steal some of the city journals to build cities like Shenzen. 

China blows my mind.

Unbelievable, that they build most of their modern cities in 10 to 20 years.

I am from a city called Changsha in China.

This is a u/c project in my city's CBD,and i think its pretty nice.

I think it's 105 meters in height,and called ZhongTian Plaza.

hm... I have very mixed filling about this Centaurs Center.

It certainly tries to be Burj Al Arab but just as certainly it's aint it!

I have a suspicion that original design has been altered - I mean key proportions. With current ones everything just falls apart. The pointy tower is way to small in relations of other 3 - blocky ones to be dominant. That leaves it as bizarre and unsubstantiated pretence for originality. It should be at least 15-20 floors taller for the rest of complex to be it’s tail. Because from ground level all tower will appear of about same volume. Shifting blocky towers around would also help to great dynamic and spatially interesting composition.

As two separate part either of them is really fine, but together there is obvious compromise, which IMHO isn’t worth the concrete.

Also the fact that Helipad is facing the Yard is very questionable and only stresses the impression that two separate and not terribly compatible projects were forced together.

Surroundings where it gonna be build (it the picture is genuine) are also odd…

Both City Crossing and Feng Long is really really cool. I think I might do both...but right now my output has really slowed down cause of RL issues so do not expect anything soon.

SHANGHAI:

Century Metropolis (Under construction)

Huge hotel under construction at Century Avenue in central Pudong. The two taller buildings are expected to be 200m tall and 45 floors each.

Shimao Riviera Garden (Under construction)

The biggest residential project in Shanghai. The tallest tower released by the moment 170m tall and 55 floors. There are 7 towers planned in total: 1x55 floors, 2x53 and 3x45. The seventh tower is expected to reach 60 floors. Some towers have been finished already.

What I have learned is, that it is impossible to BAT the whole Riviera Garden.

They have 6 (!!!) Theme parks at the ground. Amazing, but hard to BAT.

I'll try to find out more about Riviera Garden and Century Metropolis.

I wonder, why to this time no one has tried to BAT The Summit, The Highcliff and the Harbourfront Landmark in HK.

Sometimes it's hard to find informations, especially, when the buildings are proposals or u/c.

The homepages of the architects or development groups often lacks of information (like shimao group, a really poor site).

Shimao site used to be much better!! Much less Flash but more consistency and much more information... I guess whoever was remaking it just decided to cut corners and people in Shimao who were ordering new site have no clue about how it should/could be...

I will definitly bat the art center and the Nantong Int Trade center in the future. What you guys think?
