    sorry, forgot to tell you, but I'm in France until the 23rd. After that school starts again but i'll make sure to continue work when I'm back home 2.gif. Here's an update I prepared before though:

    To finally answer some questions

    @ Cockatoo: I know what you mean but at this point I'm not exactly sure yet how to solve it. Although in my opinion it doesn't bother2.gif

    @ T Wrecks: There was a bump but it was indeed too subtle. It should now be visible. By the way, is there any chance you'd want to modd it? 9.gif

    @ SimFox: I made the bump map stronger, but do the reflections still look too blurry? I haven't changed them yet as I haven't found a good texture yet.

    @ Godzillaman: the lot size will probably be 7 X 11

    I've finished the modelling work and as long as long as no one has any critics on the current state, I'll continue with the nightlighting2.gif

    Paul: Everything looks great. One thing though. On the larger screen shot (on your previous post), towards the top of the building where the building indents on the corners, there is a big black X, that is a little bit unsightly. Is there a way you can fix it?

    That would be a reflection. Look at the adjacent "windows" (I believe that is a mechanical floor). Look around at more mirror-surfaced buildings and you will see similar things.

    You have to remember that on "night window" bit reflections should also be seen. Right now they abruptly stop. And than you have black holes there. So make sure you Night Window Material is as reflective as your normal glass, or even slightly more.

    But overall problem with your reflections, both day and night is that they are too big. Try tile them couple of times and see how it will work out.

    Hong Kong - ICC and Ocean Terminal at night

    I would make the lights more blue-y - and that neat mask I'd make it about 50% Opaque.. just give a hint of reflected light and maybe lower the bump by 20% and maybe slightly more lighted floors otherwise it looks awesome.
